Watch Big Brother 13 on SuperPass! Daily Hamsterwatch
I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better
This site is about the Big Brother 13 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo

FAQ
Shoutout to Mary63, who apparently never learned that stealing is wrong.

Duos were reinstated for one week after Porsche opened Pandora's Box.

Brendon was revived a week after eviction after apparently beating the other three evictees to date in a CBS poll, and beating August 11 evictee Lawon in a live ball-chute comp.

They called Adam's elf Cruddy and his beardless look Phillip.

Brendon's knees got messed up from the food comp with the ant costumes.

They called Dominic PT for pre-teen, a running gag about how young he looks, and/or part-time, referring to his modeling career.

Nominations & veto were pairs-based until there were 10 left.

The evictee's surviving partner got one of four Golden Keys, meaning they couldn't be nominated or play for HOH until there were 10 left.

Dick left mysteriously, off the feeds, due to 'personal reasons' per him and CBS. We may never know the full story.

CBS shows air Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm

Big Brother After Dark airs 1-4am Thursdays and 12-3am other nights, on Showtime in USA and Global Reality in Canada

BB13 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. The BB veterans probably get more.

The habitat has 52 cameras and 95 microphones.

The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE LIVE FEEDS, YOU ARE MISSING THE REAL SHOW

Power tools (Tuesday)

They were locked into HOH for awhile so the crew could set up their living room Q&A booths for tomorrow's finale.. they've got Porsche on the left and Rachel on the right - hopefully they'll make them some better name signs.. there was also a short audio leak of Julie rehearsing the jury intro, with a "smattering of applause" - flashback 9/13 2.18pm.. that one seems to have audio of a bathtub draining too, even though all three hamsters are accounted for

Feeds will likely be down most of Wednesday, but they'll come back with post-finale live interviews in the backyard Wednesday night starting around 8:15pm Pacific/11:15pm Eastern, as well as the Hollywood wrap party starting at 7pm Pacific/10pm Eastern on Thursday.. you can also sign up to watch live feeds from the Vegas Bash which starts Friday and runs through the weekend

Adam seems resigned to finishing in third place, finally, but he's also still hinting at having "something up his sleeve".. he's been requesting that I get my "army" to vote for him for the $25,000 favorite prize, which puts me in an odd position since I never vote on BB stuff and I rarely endorse.. but I think he's in good position for it, thanks to CBS edits and his overall likability.. Hamsterwatchers who have enjoyed his endorsements of this site have until midnight tonight to vote.. Jeff, Jordan and Daniele "obvi" have good chances to win the consolation prize as well - if Jeff should win it again, he'll end up with almost more money than the second place finisher when you include his stipend, which the two finalists don't get

I got nothing (Monday)

I heard Adam talking about making hamburgers and hot dogs, but when I checked in later, it looked like they were grilling everything but

I confess I've not been paying much attention to the feeds these last days and I'm moving on to other things - it's turned into Groundhog Day in there anyway, with nothing but endless rewinds & repeats, but it's almost over.. tomorrow they'll probably cycle through their finale wardrobe choices again, and pack

0

Up in flames (Sunday)

Actually there was more smoke than flames when Adam's latest batch of baking bacon was forgotten, causing a small bit of excitement for those still watching the feeds.. they got some fabric paints and designed some more shirts, and they laid around a lot, napped a lot, ate a lot, rehashed a lot in threes, and campaigned in twos

They'd planned a minute of silence for 9.11pm to mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11.. Rachel was called into Diary a few minutes earlier, but Adam & Porsche raised their glasses, and then bowed their heads at the appointed hour

Adam continued shmoozing both Rachel & Porsche on their own, and the two girls continued comparing notes about him.. their Final Two pact seems solid, but Final Three hamsters have fibbed in the past about such things.. we won't know for sure how solid their pact really is until Wednesday when Julie asks whichever one of them wins part 3 who they want to evict

Underwater injuries (Saturday)

Porsche won part 2, meaning she will go up against Rachel for live Q&A part 3 on Wednesday's show.. it sounds like something similar to BB8's part 2: they had to race to match up hamsters, underwater, involving a maze of some sort and it sounds like messed-up morphomatic faces were part of it.. their times were four minutes and six minutes, but the feeds were down for three hours.. both said it was very difficult, but that the setup looked very cool

Adam was understandably not chipper about losing, and both he & Porsche got some minor injuries: Porsche had a bandaged leg, Adam had ice on his hand, and both had bloody fingers - they both said they bled onto the finish button.. the first aid kit has been out a lot this year

Rachel & Porsche did a celebratory hop & dance when Adam went to Diary, and Rachel told Adam that she & Porsche made a Final Two deal when Porsche went to Diary.. Adam told each of them that winning part 3 will add some weight to his jury vote.. their season rehashes carry on and on and on

I'm not expecting much in the next few days but will update here if anything does happen, if I happen to catch it

Ratings - Waiting for Euthanasia edition

Ratings are Saturday's, based on entertainment value, such as it is

They'll have a packed finale with a lot to cram into 90 minutes: they have to show Part 1 Mixer, Part 2, check in with all the early evictees, greet the jurors, show them discussing the finalists, Part 3 Q&A and evict someone (likely Adam), send him to a jury stool and hand him a question, jury questions for the finalists, insert seven keys for Julie to later remove dramatically, and crown a winner. They might also show Kalia & Jordan arriving at the jury house, some F3 chats or their Friday night dinner, possibly a few retrospective clips, maybe out some things like the various thefts and Muscle Milk tampering, along with lots & lots of commercials.

I wonder if they'll be watching the viewer stats for the new season of Big Brother UK on its new channel. If it does well, they might decide to cut out the feeds for BB14 like UK has done this year. We do cause them a lot of problems, especially now that most everyone's on Twitter and no secret stays quiet for more than 30 seconds. Unlike CBS, BB UK has always edited accurately in the past, but our Powers That Be would probably like the opportunity to make this show like all their others, without anyone being the wiser. Time will tell.

Paired with Dominic Shelly - GOLDEN KEY
Won: One week elf suit, clothes
He's catching a lot of flak out here but isn't he the non-actormodel, 'regular person' most have wanted to see on there? Sure, he'd have a better chance of going to finals if he told each of the girls they'd lose his finals vote if they evict him, but he's not that guy. He's made no enemies these many weeks, and that's pretty rare in Big Brother. He's in good position to get the $25k (it's CBS viewers and/or CBS who decide that) and that would give him almost as good a paycheck as 2nd place when added to his stipend. He was a good sport about it all evening, but he sat outside alone a good long time after the girls went to sleep, beating himself up.

Paired with Keith Kalia - GOLDEN KEY
Won: $5,000, clothes
WON PART 2
Kudos to her for winning what sounds like a brutal comp when she had to. It's a good thing Brendon & Daniele weren't still there or some would say it was tailored for and against their respective swimming skills. If Porsche's in finals, and it looks like she will be, I'll go ahead and call Daniele & Kalia giving her their vote, and possibly Shelly, with the others giving the win to Rachel. If by some fluke Porsche should win the $500k, the BB interwebs might implode.

Paired with Brendon Jordan
Won: Jessie paraphernalia
WON PART 1
Once again, if you'd said one year ago that Rachel would be in prime position to win Big Brother, you'd have been laughed out of town. But here she is and she's almost got $500k to put towards her dream wedding and Brendon's degree. I think Adam would have had the best shot at Part 3 'which juror said what' since he talked to everyone all season, but he probably won't get to go for it. Rachel talked to everyone too but mostly just about game, but Porsche went all summer without talking to some of them at all, so I'd say Rachel's got Part 3 and the final vote pretty much sewn up.

Paired with Jeff Rachel
Won: One week catsuit + tutu, clothes
She did her ditzy again but she showed some BB savvy this time as well, although she forgot many of her winning season's details. She wore the enhanced catsuit with flair and a great attitude, and continuously fingered her hair. She got fired up twice which seemed out of character for her, but so did her chest-bumping Russell. Her most surprising moment for me was her spot-on Fire Marshall Bill face, and her tooty-toot voice was hilarious.

Paired with Lawon Porsche
Won: $5,000, Caribbean trip, clothes
She seemed to be eating most of the time and she talked 'literally' nonstop, but it was her constant singing & resulting palms that got her on feedsters' hit lists, escalated by doggie horror stories like throwing her yorkie into a wall (8/29 11.13pm, 8/29 12.43pm). She talked a lot about making 'big moves' but her first was to nom & evict her own teamie Lawon. She later nom'd & evicted Jeff, but she didn't get the flak for it that Shelly did.

Paired with Cassi Adam - GOLDEN KEY
Won: 24 hours solitary, phone call
She'd said she didn't want to fill the mom role but she represented the demo well, being a friend to most of them when they were down and handing out good advice. She also bashed with the best of them, smoked and cleaned non-stop, and she introduced the hilarious stealth hammock creep. She took a lot of flak for things she did and didn't do, but she played the game the way it was designed to be played and it took them 55 days to catch on.

Paired with Jordan
Won: $15,000
His sense of entitlement to be there and win was as strong as the other vets, but it didn't work out for him this time either. He went out on a bitter note but he gave us his share of funny one-liners while he lasted, especially when he was losing. He had issues with Dumbledore, was a formidable opponent for the new grill and for Adam & Shelly's cigarette supplies, he won all the cash to date, and he'll probably get yet another CBS show after this.

Paired with Dick - GOLDEN KEY/TICKET
Won/used: Veto ticket
She looked & acted different this time, especially when she joked & laughed which was great to see, but she failed at her former specialty of winning vetos and she went back to whining when on the block and on slop. Like all the vets, she had a sense of entitlement but she turned on them too soon, got Dominic booted, and later evicted her teamie Lawon. She shuffled her deck and almost had an 11th hour save, but it 'literally' didn't work out.

Paired with Rachel
Won: 1 week revival
His return was twice unwelcome, especially now that he's had a year to suck the life and Vegas out of Rachel. This time he wore superhero suits, used not-funny voices, lost a toy turtle, lectured everyone, and had big goofy smiles for Big Booty & Porsche's striptease. He had a pathetic sense of entitlement and made a giant stink about Rachel calling him Buki.

Paired with Kalia
Won: nothing
My favorite hamster in years, he came out with his best stuff late nights so many missed it, but he gave great Diary, wore kooky outfits and officiated at the trashbag wedding with tremendous style & flair. He caught flak for pawning himself out the door but his teamies encouraged it and put him up, so it's not all on him. He was Lawonderful with a fantastic laugh and he'll be missed.

Paired with Adam
Won: nothing
He was the first casualty of Daniele's too hard/too fast strategy but he didn't help himself by not brushing up more on how BB works. He told a lot of pointless lies about his modeling, schooling, virginity and then fessed up to them, which might have come back to bite him anyway. His adolescent jokes & behavior did nothing for me.

Paired with Shelly
Won: nothing
She started off okay and had Dominic in her pocket, but Shelly befriended her so well that when they were both nominated, Cassi just laid down and died. She complained a lot, failed to fulfill her catfight potential, and was the third model in a row to be booted out second. She had the best Mirror-Face since BB5/7 Jase.

Paired with Porsche
Won: nothing
He claimed to be a fan since BB1 but even watching only CBS, he clearly wasn't paying attention: who throws a veto comp when they're on the block? He went in with a clearly outlined womanizing strategy which failed miserably, he set off another BB Weinergate, and he panicked himself right out the door.

Paired with Daniele
Won: nothing
We haven't had a premiere night no-show since BB9 Jacob, and we haven't had a mysterious early exit since BB9 Neil. These pairs twist seasons just seem to complicate things for production. No real word yet on why Dick's gone (and there may never be) but he sure was looking rough in the premiere.

News & updates

How the final HOH comp works: the winner of part 1 endurance sits out part 2, which is usually a combo of season info & physical, similar to most veto comps. The winners of part 1 (Rachel) & part 2 (Porsche) go against each other live on the finale for Q&A, and the winner of that decides who will be evicted and become the 7th jury member.

That final jury member is at a disadvantage since they aren't able to discover whatever the other jurors have or discuss the finalists in the jury house. Even though they're not supposed to discuss the game in the jury house, they do "obvi".
