Watch Big Brother 14 on SuperPass! Daily Hamsterwatch
I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better
This site is about the Big Brother 14 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo

BB14 FAQ
If you have SuperPass, access mobile feeds by going to real.com/bigbrother on your mobile device's browser. Log in (upper right), select Big Brother, and select Live Feeds from the drop menu. There is no app.

Fast Forward 'double eviction' is a Thursday show with eviction, HOH comp, veto comp and meeting, and a second eviction all on the live show. The second HOH comp will begin on the same show if endurance, or possibly after Showtime if not, but more likely the next day.

The BB14 untwist resulted in no eviction, and all coaches entering the game. Boogie was the only one who didn't vote to enter. If all had said no, there would have been a hamster revival.

Willie was ejected for head-butting Joe. Threats & verbal attacks are legal - aggressive physical contact is not.

They're calling pre-show sequester 'convention' or 'knitting convention', and they're calling Diary 'the wizard' or 'dairy queen'.

Ashley revealed they wear earpieces for nominations, at least early on.

CBS shows are Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm.

Big Brother After Dark airs midnight to 3am nightly (1am to 4am Thursdays) on Showtime (SHO2) in USA, and on Slice in Canada at various times - check your local listings.

BB14 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Kara and Jenn may have gotten more.

The coach of the winner would have gotten $100k without the untwist. Returning veterans got $20k to show up, and/or a higher stipend after the untwist.

The habitat has 53 cameras (up one) and 98 microphones (up three).

The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

The Glass House premiered June 18 on ABC and will run for 10 episodes. The winner will get $250,000 - half the usual BB winning amount.

The glass hamsters go into hotel sequester on weekends.

Big Brother Canada premieres February 2013.

Pandora's blockage (Friday 8/24)

The little room off HOH had a brief stint as a coach's bedroom for a few weeks but like everything else we've seen before, Pandora's Box came back to its closet today.. once upon a time we used to be able to watch them ponder their clues and greet their kooky Pandora visitors, but those days are long over.. feeds went to trivia at 1.12pm and looped the same stale questions for almost two hours, mistakes and all

When they returned, Frank had $3k in his pocket (per him - he was locked up alone), and Ian had a veto but can't play in tomorrow's veto comp after they had a habitat hunt for quarters to use in the arcade machine: apparently it malfunctioned several times but Ian ended up getting the golden ball.. Dan mouthed off about something and later said "in two seasons it's the first time I've been embarrassed by my actions"

The actual explanation as well as Frank's actual winnings will be on Sunday's show, but the BB interwebs are all in a tizzy over this veto and possible implications.. from everything they've said on the feeds, it's just a normal veto, so there will be two this week - nothing more, nothing less

They got the middle size table on cue, and matzo and mozzarella for Dan.. despite 11th hour meetings, Frank nominated Dan & Danielle as planned.. LITALLY nothing else happened all day or night - even a meager booze delivery couldn't help.. Britney did a classic Sarah Palin, and several of them said Danielle looks like Bristol - Dan emphasized the pre-Dancing With the Stars version.. he's started dropping several tiny little bombs like that for Danielle's benefit but his stuff is so subtle, it'll take her awhile to process them all - by the time she does, she'll forget they came from him.. they talked movies for awhile, and Alabama girl Danielle said The Patriot is about the Civil War.. whispers started whispering about Diary trying to make Ian not use his veto, and on it goes

Bye-bye Boogie (Thursday 8/23)

And may you never again return to pollute my feeds

Most of the day was blocked behind trivia, as were mentions of lockdown, waking up, the mystery cube in the arcade machine, production assistants, and similar inanities - I guess we're supposed to believe they're in there alone with no adult supervision.. between packing, Jenn gave Joe a haircut and Shane lined up for one too.. Ashley pulled her into the pantry for a weird convo about just wanting to get along? That's the best I could figure it out anyway.. one hamster after another came in and went about their pantry business and/or tried to eavesdrop instead of the usual apologies for intruding like usually happens - the pecking order is clear

Boogie continued to trashtalk about pathetic lives and the like.. he and Ian shared a sniffly good-bye hug.. Boogie went up to the chess area and held a towel to his face afterwards, and Ian wiped tears as he paced the Have-not room.. he muttered something about feeling like a scumbag after the hug

Julie and her side pony greeted Boogie after a 5-2 vote and filled him in on what a dope he's been, then crowned Ian as the next HOH after he beat Danielle on a tie-breaker after a before/after Q&A

Ian nominated Frank & Ashley, Frank won the veto diving through balls, and Joe went up in his place.. Ashley went out 5-1, and the feeds remained on trivia for a half hour after the credits rolled

Feeds went to trivia again and were a bit late to return after Showtime revealed that Frank won yet another HOH.. Dan is Have-not, his first time this year, selected by Frank or maybe he volunteered

Letters, we get letters

It sounds like there were some tantrums and fireworks in the half hour between the show ending and the feeds returning, but we're used to missing out on that stuff by now.. we came back to Frank making it up with Ian, and Danielle crying - we're used to that too

Danielle made a birthday cake for Britney, and helped hold her up for birthday spanks by Shane.. they had DiGiorno and Dan got acquainted with Muscle Milk.. he also paced the Have-not room and talked about a scheme to spread stories that would have fingers pointing everywhere but him

Ian got his HOH basket, pics and letter from home, and later they trooped upstairs for Frank's, again.. Dan left first, and Britney stayed longest, joking "well, I won the endurance comp of the evening".. Frank told her he plans to nominate Dan & Danielle, with Dan as the target

Ian finally made it back to his hammock which had been oiled and stopped squeaking for a bit, but it started up again soon and louder than ever, and making more of a creak sound (dare I say quack?).. Britney reported the noms plan back to Dan and to Danielle, Danielle cried some more, and went to visit Frank.. he told her his target is Dan, and Danielle offered her fifth F2 deal to Frank if Dan goes - it should be noted that Frank didn't outright agree.. Danielle also hinted there's more to Ian than meets the eye, and she told the same to Jenn.. when Danielle re-reported back to Dan, they sounded ready to rat out Ian tomorrow.. Danielle also re-reported back to Jenn, but they were too whispery and the feeds too messed up for me to follow

Ratings - Frenzy edition

Ratings are Thursday's for now, based on entertainment value
VTE = Voted to evict

I always hand it to them for this two-in-one show as it's a logistics nightmare to hand over an hour of live primetime to a group of amateurs, especially this group, and to make them run their hamster wheels this fast and furious. Julie's side pony was on the wrong side for when she faced her plasma, and the rumors flew right past the usual 'is she pregnant?' to 'when is she due?' with that panda dress. The one thing these double shows prove is how much time we waste dragging everything out all week when it only takes an hour to cover it all, especially when we're cursed with an unimaginative group again. Best part about it? Of course Boogie's farewells from Britney and Ian were Top Ten List caliber and will go down in the books, but hearing Julie repeatedly say Quack Pack was simply faboo.

TEAMIES: Shane, Willie, JoJo
WON: 1 week safety
#1 VTE Boogie
#2 VTE Ashley
Happy birthday to her and thanks for the best Diary ring-ring ever. She's got the only good Diaries anymore since she's the only one who doesn't have to be fed lines in there. I'm not a fan of her busybody style this year (mostly because it keeps setting off Danielle) but if she can be the last coach standing, I'll give her a free pass to newbie status.

TEAMIES: Kara, Danielle, Jodi
WON: Sushi party
#1 VTE Boogie
#2 VTE Ashley
NOMINATED
Now that he's finally the underdog and all his dealings are almost out in the open, it seemed like he attempted to play the victim role tonight. Sorry Dan, but your protegee has that one nailed and there's only room for one in that pity party. I'm not a fan of his Diaries due to the shouting and cliches, and the cliches don't improve when he's alone and saying them quietly in Have-not. It sounds like he's ready to bust out Ian tomorrow, but Ian's already laid some groundwork to cover in the event that happens. It was one thing for Dan to go up against crusty old Jerry last time - it'll be quite another if he tries to openly attack Ian: fans will revolt and ducks will attack.

TEAM DAN
#1 VTE Boogie
#2 VTE Ashley
NOMINATED
I've had my fun with the soap opera I like to call As Danielle's World Turns, but I'm ready for it to be cancelled. Maybe it's the four solid and one assumed (in her mind) F2 deals, or the stale fatal attraction storyline, or the everlasting hysterics, but I think it's the click-whispering that finally did me in. I couldn't even be bothered to laugh when she all but dumped Dan for Frank, or when she said Dan will take her off the block if he wins the veto - wait, yes I can.

TEAM BOOGIE
WON: $3k, 1 week spiritard
#1 VTE Jenn
#2 NOMINATED - WON VETO
#2 VTE Joe
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
BB fans can be so fickle and so unaware of their perspective sometimes. When it's the one you like, it's what a great player they are. When it's the one you hate, it's rigged. Frank's certain eviction reprieve at the untwist was definitely rigged, but he's pulling out these wins when he has to, and that's what they're supposed to do in this game. Back to back wins on the same night is nothing to scoff at, plus he got to vote for the first time all season - and then he did that again too! His icky pal is gone and I'm willing to give his solo act a chance to see what he does with it.

TEAM BOOGIE
WON: $3k, 24 hour dog's life, veto
#1 VTE Boogie
#2 HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD (no vote)
HOLDS VETO
He won the best HOH possible as that quickie is often overlooked when the jury starts to tally up their injuries. The fact that he sent out Ashley makes it that much better for him: she might not even remember. Joe's used to being nominated and so is Frank, and Ian & Frank were all good again within an hour. (That might not be the case tomorrow, but we'll see.) 'Pop a squat, man' was icing on an already tasty cake, and then Ian topped it by making a day-drinking date with Frank.

TEAM BOOGIE
WON: $1k, Hawaii trip
#1 No vote (nominee)
#2 VTE Ashley
She came out fighting and she saved herself by knowing when to jump ship and doing it. I can't deal with her buddy-buddy act with Danielle, but my real problem with her is when she starts talking bands and music. She went on a ten-minute spiel to Dan last night about her stage monitor mix, as if Dan cared or could even follow. I acknowledge this is a personal problem for me: I've just known way too many musicians. But if she sticks much longer, that stuff will start happening more and more, and I just can't take it.

TEAM JANELLE
#1 VTE Boogie
#2 No vote (nominee)
Sure he's a shmuck but without him, I've got no material to work with at all so I'm glad he survived again. Falling down in the veto comp was good, but his silent nominee speech was one of brightest highlights of the night.

TEAM BRITNEY
WON: Veto ticket
#1 No vote (HOH)
#2 VTE Ashley
He all but disappeared after his week at the top came to an end. Danielle talked, cried to, and cozied up with everyone but him.

TEAM JANELLE - WON: Nothing
#1 VTE Jenn
#2 EVICTED 5-1
She was ditzy and kooky, and didn't seem like she knew what show she was on most of the time (which fits, since she landed here after being rejected from a dating show). She had back problems that looked legit, and worked in her favor more than once. She brought a kitty-cat sleep mask, creative counting methods, unicorns and dreamboard strategy, and while she seems like a nice enough girl who would have been a hit in 1967, her monotone voice won't be missed.

TEAMIES: Frank, Ian, Jenn - WON: $16k
#1 EVICTED 5-2
He started a bit better this time but degenerated to his old self. His friends in production couldn't save him this time around and he got got. His team survived him but only Frank stuck with him til the end, even though Boogie went for cash rather than working to help him. I'm very relieved to see the back of him for a third and hopefully last time, and I only wish we had a feed for when Dr. Will smacks him upside the head.

TEAM JANELLE - WON: $5,000
He came in with the most entertainment potential we've seen in awhile but other than a few spectacular bursts such as his drunken sushi birthday, he failed to deliver on a regular basis. His Sharon Osbourne was spot-on and so was his Joe, but his quick wit wasn't enough to combat the overall doldrums of the season. He fiddled his hair constantly (like Kaysar), and he pinkyswore Janelle out the door. He starred in two of the three 'The Soup' segments to date, and he'll be missed.

TEAMIES: Wil, Ashley, Joe WON: nothing
She was the first coach casualty but she went quietly, robbing us of an updated 'bye-bye bitches'. She didn't have a Howie or Kaysar to work with (or entertain us) this time, and her teamies either didn't know or didn't care how loyally she plays BB. She had some sippy fun but this cast didn't get her shtick, and she had pork rinds thrown at her and mean girl chatter reminiscent of BB6. She drove the early game but didn't play in any veto comps, and that was a huge loss for the season.

TEAM BRITNEY - WON: nothing
She promised to bring it, but apparently she left it on Staten Island since she failed to fight even when confronted. She talked a lot but it was mostly the same loops over and over: she only gets along with East Coast girls, she's street-smart, she's loyal, and she's loyal, know what I mean? She was scouted via Facebook to get here, and that's where she should have stayed. Now she can get back to modeling and piloxing.

TEAM BRITNEY - WON: nothing
(Possibly forfeited stipend)
He spent two weeks laying in HOH bed, parannoying his brains out even though he was perfectly safe, and his fall from HOH was the hardest we've ever seen. He head-butted himself out the door when he might have been saved by veto, so he'll go into the BB blunders pile. I didn't come in with Hantzophobia so I'm grateful for the cheap entertainment he brought, especially the Froot Loops war and Willieisms like 'key-hos', 'corn-ho', and 'totin' pole'. He's the first hamster to pose for his mug shot while his season was still underway.

TEAM DAN - WON: nothing
She brought a big name and rep to the show but didn't live up to either. She seemed like a nice enough girl but she didn't bring much to the feeds, and her sister wife wardrobe greatly disappointed her pre-existing fanbase. She'll be remembered for extra shiny knees and little else - she didn't even campaign to stay.

TEAM DAN, for a minute - WON: nothing
Most were looking forward to seeing what she'd bring, but she got a raw deal and was gone before the feeds even kicked on. She'd said she was worried about lack of privacy & sleep, missing her family, and slop, so maybe BB wasn't for her, and she got away without airing any dirty laundry. It had to be humiliating to go back in for the group bikini pic but that's how they do things.
