Watch Big Brother 14 on SuperPass! Daily Hamsterwatch
I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better
This site is about the Big Brother 14 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo

BB14 FAQ
If you have SuperPass, access mobile feeds by going to real.com/bigbrother on your mobile device's browser. Log in (upper right), select Big Brother, and select Live Feeds from the drop menu. There is no app.

The BB14 untwist resulted in no eviction, and all coaches entering the game. Boogie was the only one who didn't vote to enter. If all had said no, there would have been a hamster revival.

Willie was ejected for head-butting Joe. Threats & verbal attacks are legal - aggressive physical contact is not.

They're calling pre-show sequester 'convention' or 'knitting convention', and they're calling Diary 'the wizard' or 'dairy queen'.

Ashley revealed they wear earpieces for nominations, at least early on.

CBS shows are Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm.

Big Brother After Dark airs midnight to 3am nightly (1am to 4am Thursdays) on Showtime (SHO2) in USA, and on Slice in Canada at various times - check your local listings.

BB14 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Kara and Jenn may have gotten more.

The coach of the winner would have gotten $100k without the untwist. Returning veterans got $20k to show up, and/or a higher stipend after the untwist.

The habitat has 53 cameras (up one) and 98 microphones (up three).

The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

The Glass House premiered June 18 on ABC and ran for 10 episodes. The winner got $250,000 - half the usual BB winning amount. The glass hamsters went into hotel sequester on weekends.

Big Brother Canada premieres February 2013.

33 hours later (Wednesday 9/12)

The feeds came back precisely 33 hours after they were blocked (just like I've been saying for the past week, ahem).. Danielle nominated Dan & Ian, and she won the veto.. after almost five hours of repetitive foursome chit-chat, they finally split into pairs.. Danielle & Shane talked about taking Dan off the block so he'll have to cast the only vote, evict Ian, and finally get some blood on his own hands instead of theirs

But wait, what's this? Dan might actually be considering booting Shane! He repeatedly asked Ian (again) if he'd take him to Final 2 if he has the option - Ian said yes (again).. Dan also asked Ian if he'd mentioned "the R word" (Renegades) in Diary - Ian said yes in a "well duh" type of tone.. I don't want to get my hopes up, but Shane might actually get gone tomorrow and Ian could live to hammock again.. meanwhile Shane & Danielle actually had their first makeout type good-night kiss in the HOH bed - ptui

Update: That was their second slurpydurp - CBS showed another that happened during our blackout.. I guess I have to put them in the tally now

Thursday night will be the last endurance comp of the season, Part 1 of the final HOH comp.. I doubt we'll have anything as monumentally epic as we did in BB8 with Dick versus Zach, but this is when that one happened.. if we get a blindside eviction, it WILL be a battle and we won't have any pansy-ass Dan's Misty deals and drops! You can watch it live on the feeds.. a SuperPass subscription will also let you watch live backyard interviews after the finale, a wrap party the following night, and Flashback to see anything from this season or last.. keep in mind that Allison Grodner and CBS blocked the feeds, not SuperPass

Times have changed (Tuesday 9/11)

As expected, BB not only woke them up but made them get up at 9am to record for tonight's Showtime, but they didn't do much.. the camera came out and they snapped their pics, but otherwise they pretty much just laid around for the three hours.. it was a far cry from last year when they'd kept them up til 6am with fortune teller sayings, and then got them up again at 9am with gifts of champagne and tie-dye kits.. The Powers That Be aren't even trying anymore

A couple days ago, Ian suggested the possibility of a taped eviction tonight but the others still didn't seem to catch on, at least before the trivia took them away at noon - I presume they got the full disclosure then since the girls had to pack and campaign, and they all had to primp, clean, and rehearse before 5pm.. the feeds never flashed on this afternoon, and will probably be down a full 33 hours until Showtime starts on Wednesday night, because CBS Cares

Dan hung their flag to commemorate the date, but even though he said "it's supposed to go opposite of how you think" when hanging the stars & stripes vertically, he got it wrong.. Danielle had a fit about Shane snapping a few pics before she had her makeup on, and Ian wrote his tweets.. that was about it for the entire three hours, so I think it's safe to say that you Showtime-onlies can watch something else tonight

As promised, here's what you came to find out: Jenn was evicted 2-0, and Danielle is the new Head of Household, guaranteeing her spot in Final Three and on our feeds until the finale (at least when we have feeds, that is).. read on for a full write-up of the show taping

Live from the taping

@MissCleoBB14 was at the Tuesday taping of Wednesday's show and is here with a Hamsterwatch exclusive to fill us in, along with contraband video! Click for a Jenn interview clip and Jenn gets a sandwich (or alternate interview link - alternate sandwich link).. thank you very much, and take it away, Cleo!

Greetings Hamsterwatchers! CBS can take away our feeds, but they can't take away our spoilers! Not while I'm around, at least! Here's what happened on the Tuesday night taping:

Immediately as the audience entered the studio we were instructed to be very silent - it was like one big stealth-whisper game talk session without the benefit of subtitles to help us understand what was being said. Don Wollman, one of the producers and the infamous "voice" of Big Brother, explained that this was a "surprise eviction" the HGs didn't know about, and in order for them to pull it off, they had to make sure the hamsters couldn't hear a live audience entering the building.

After the opening credits, Julie tells us it's “time to surprise the HGs with the news of tonight's special eviction". She then presses her red button, her face pops up on the living room monitor, and we hear Julie announce "Houseguests, I need everyone to gather in the living room... RIGHT NOW!"

The hamsters were genuinely surprised. Danielle squeals, Shane is caught in the kicks room quickly putting on his pants, Ian comes out of the HOH room and runs downstairs. Jenn tells Chenbot "looking great as always!"

Julie continues: "Sorry to intrude, but eviction night has come early in the Big Brother house, and I suggest all of you get ready 'cause I'll be back before you know it for the vote, eviction and HOH competition." The monitor goes off, allowing Shane time to shave, Dan to find a new shirt (YES! A new black shirt! Where have you been all summer?), and Danielle to spackle her third eye that's been growing on her forehead while we cut away to pre-taped segments. Was this "surprise eviction" necessary? No, but it almost resembled the beginning of a double eviction episode, and we all know that those are more exciting than standard evictions and make for better TV, so I can understand why they chose to do this.

The first pre-taped segment was the POV comp from last Saturday. This was a unique BB comp, but ironically it was a TOTAL rip-off of this summer's Glass House final 4 comp. The comp was called "Time Flies", and basically they had to put a puzzle together that looked like a bunch of Salvidor Dali melting clocks on a magnetized board. The puzzle was on one platform and a buzzer was on another platform. Pressing the button magnetized the board for 20 seconds, and they were strapped in harnesses (see: The Glass House F4 competition to understand how they got from the buzzer platform to the puzzle board platform) and had 20 seconds to assemble the puzzle pieces. If they didn't get back to their buzzer before the 20 seconds were over, the puzzle board demagnetized and the puzzle pieces fell down. If an additional 10 seconds elapsed without hitting the buzzer, they were eliminated. Ian was the only one who ended up getting eliminated because he forgot about the 10 second rule, and once he was out he started assisting Shane (giving him verbal instructions, watching his timer and warning him that he only had a few seconds left, etc), much to Jenn’s consternation, especially since Jenn and Shane were both ahead of Dan and Danielle at that point (Danielle admits she started cheating off Shane to figure out the puzzle). This was when Jenn knew she was screwed and the house wanted her out.

The next segment is vomit-inducing. Shane and Danielle's ridiculous nomance gymnastics date. You will cringe. Danielle calls it their "first date". They do a joint DR session (ILL-TOWN). Danielle talks about how she's SO excited to go 'cause SHE used to be a gymnast and tumbler. No, this isn't one of my typical #DaniDelusions tweets - she really said this. They meet the USA women's gymnastics team, with large boxes of Kellogg's Corn Flakes in tow (gotta love that product placement!). Shane and Danielle are THRILLED to meet them even though they have no idea who they are (did you before the Olympics?) and never saw their outstanding performance in London, and make asses of themselves with inane questions and comments, and Danielle once again finds a way to make it all about her and talk in her Honey Boo Boo child voice to Shane. Yes they even kiss in the van on the way back to the BB house, but I'm sure Shane kisses his grandma with the same intensity (ie. NONE).

Now that this stupid segment robbed us of a much needed jury house segment, we're back in the house for the POV meeting, and Jenn is both angry and amazed at Dan's wizardry, being able to once again escape being on the block. She doesn't let Dan mist her though, and she makes it clear she knows what's up and not to pee on her leg and tell her it's raining.

Jenn is evicted by an expected 2-0 vote and she looked absolutely beautiful in person. She was in good spirits, left the house by advising them to "keep it fun, keep it classy... don't forget to burn this place down!" and the audience welcomed her with thunderous applause. Julie asks if she regrets taking slop to save Dan, she says no, and Julie even presents her with a PB&J sandwich at the end of the interview, which she savors and continues to eat even after they cut to commercials and turn down the lights.

Next up: the power is back up for grabs, and it's the same comp that we last saw in BB11 when Natalie won HOH and ran around the backyard screaming "THIS IS FOR YOU CHIMA!!" I described what happened in detail on my twitter timeline, but basically there were 7 questions, Shane got 5 correct, Dan and Danielle were tied with 6 and went to a tiebreaker. Because of BB's "The Price Is Right" rules where only the contestant with the closest bid without going over wins, Danielle was very far from the correct answer, but Dan had gone over the "actual retail price" so Danielle won.

There you have it! See it all for yourself when it airs tonight, and heed my warning and keep a barf bag nearby for the gymnastics segment. Follow me @MissCleoBB14.

Ratings - CBS Cares edition

Ratings are based on 33 hours of trivia
VTE = Voted to evict

'CBS cares' is their motto but they've proven once again that their Big Brother fans are excluded from that phrase. They're still promoting live, uncensored access on CBS.com even though we're in the middle of a 33-hour feeds block as I type this. Again. They've done this every year since BB6 I think? But the world is different now. In the past, fans always knew who was evicted and who won HOH even though they shut us out, but we were all isolated in our various little BB communities then. Now everyone's connected, and everyone knows that everyone knows, and shutting us out from what we all know already just highlights the fact that they hate us. They really do.

TEAMIES: Kara, Danielle, Jodi
WON: Sushi party, 24 hour disco
VTE Jenn
NOMINATED
If Ian goes to jury, at least there will be someone there to remind them that Dan already took home one $500,000 oversized check. The rest of them seem to have forgotten that. So has Ian, but once he gets clear of the Mist, his memory might return. Dan talked about his BB10 cast again tonight, and again Steven Daigle's name never came up - what's up with that?
Overnight update: Dan seems to actually be considering booting Shane (assuming he's the one casting tomorrow's vote). Since he's the one who's been hyping up the Gruesome Twosome's nomance lately, virtually rekindling it from nothing, 'breaking up the couple' is a built-in and acceptable excuse to do so.

TEAM DAN
WON: 24 hour shackles, field trip
No vote (nominee)
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD - HOLDS VETO
Rachel Lite has stepped up her game here at the end, hasn't she? It was very nice to have 33 hours that were mostly free of people telling me how much they hate her. You think you get tired of listening to her? Imagine how we BB sites feel about you all telling us that.
Overnight update: I can't really believe she'd use the veto to replace Dan with her sweet baboo, but it's sounding like she might be planning that. How many times has an HOH veto'd their own noms this year? It's crazy!

TEAM BOOGIE
WON: $4k, 24 hour dog's life, veto ball
No vote (HOH)
NOMINATED
He didn't even get to hammock on what was probably his last night on the feeds. He's probably a goner tomorrow, and that means the rest of the week will be Dan, Danielle, and Shane on the feeds. How about we swap places, and you watch the feeds for me?
Overnight update: I'm afraid to hope as they always disappoint, but this might not be the end of Ian after all.

TEAM BRITNEY
WON: Veto ticket, field trip
VTE Jenn
Brendon Lite, but with more pastels. The funniest part about Shane's 'it's the cameras' excuse to not kiss Danielle is that he originally applied for 'The Bachelorette' - isn't that all they do on that show?
Overnight update: even if he doesn't get gone tomorrow, I'll have these few hours to savor the possibility.

TEAM BOOGIE
WON: $1k, Hawaii trip
EVICTED 2-0
For weeks she was in the Who? category, prompting me to post Daily Jenn Sightings to remind folks she was still there. She was more visible as the numbers dwindled, but she still isolated herself a lot, with some occasional musician chat to the non-musicians. She made what she termed a BIG MOVE when she veto'd Dan off the block, after burning her clothes and taking slop for three weeks so he wouldn't win the veto - most consider that a dumb move, not a big one. She spent 67 days at summer camp but she fell for Dan's Mist like many before her, and she paid for it. She didn't apply to be on the show: they found her on Facebook.

TEAM JANELLE
WON: 24 hour hula hoop
HE WAS AN ALTERNATE WHO MADE THE CUT AND WHILE HE WAS OBNOXIOUS FOR AWHILE HE TURNED IT AROUND BY BECOMING COMEDY. HE SHOUTED IN DIARY BUT HE SHOUTED EVERYWHERE AND HIS STORIES MADE TALL TALES LOOK SHORT. HE COOKED ALL THEIR DINNERS AND WASN'T A THREAT TO THE GRILL BUT HIS FOOD HYGIENE NEEDS HELP. HIS CHEAP WEBSITE CRASHED FROM ALL HIS PIMPING BUT I WISH HIM WELL. HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON BUT NOBODY LISTENED DESPITE HIS VOLUME.

TEAM BOOGIE
WON: $3,341.49, 1 week spiritard, 1 week carrot, green bath, 24 hour chum showers
He was either HOH or nominated every week and he fought hard to stick. He got a reprieve on reset night, and he escaped walking the plank in the cheertard and the carrot, but he was a good sport with both, as well as his chum showers. He was loud and volatile, featuring in the only two fights of the season, but he cooled off quickly and made it up. He seems like a good guy at heart and he has a fabulous laugh. His famous father was the best kept non-game secret among several.

TEAMIES: Shane, Willie, JoJo
WON: 1 week safety, 24 hour shackles
She gamed way too hard as a coach and as a player, but she contributed to Willie's pork rind tantrum so kudos for that. She didn't bring as much comedy as she's capable of but when she did, it was hilarious, including early late nights with Janelle and her stellar pre-eviction drunk. It's a shame we didn't get a second season of Just The Tip and that she repeated some of her same mistakes, but she was fun to see again and she'll definitely be missed.

TEAM JANELLE - WON: Nothing
She was ditzy and kooky, and didn't seem like she knew what show she was on most of the time (which fits, since she landed here after being rejected from a dating show). She had back problems that looked legit, and worked in her favor more than once. She brought a kitty-cat sleep mask, creative counting methods, unicorns and dreamboard strategy, and while she seems like a nice enough girl who would have been a hit in 1967, her monotone voice won't be missed.

TEAMIES: Frank, Ian, Jenn - WON: $16k
He started a bit better this time but degenerated to his old self. His friends in production couldn't save him this time around and he got got. His team survived him but only Frank stuck with him til the end, even though Boogie went for cash rather than working to help him. I'm very relieved to see the back of him for a third and hopefully last time, and I only wish we had a feed for when Dr. Will smacks him upside the head.

TEAM JANELLE - WON: $5,000
He came in with the most entertainment potential we've seen in awhile but other than a few spectacular bursts such as his drunken sushi birthday, he failed to deliver on a regular basis. His Sharon Osbourne was spot-on and so was his Joe, but his quick wit wasn't enough to combat the overall doldrums of the season. He fiddled his hair constantly (like Kaysar), and he pinkyswore Janelle out the door. He starred in two of the three 'The Soup' segments to date, and he'll be missed.

TEAMIES: Wil, Ashley, Joe WON: nothing
She was the first coach casualty but she went quietly, robbing us of an updated 'bye-bye bitches'. She didn't have a Howie or Kaysar to work with (or entertain us) this time, and her teamies either didn't know or didn't care how loyally she plays BB. She had some sippy fun but this cast didn't get her shtick, and she had pork rinds thrown at her and mean girl chatter reminiscent of BB6. She drove the early game but didn't play in any veto comps, and that was a huge loss for the season.

TEAM BRITNEY - WON: nothing
She promised to bring it, but apparently she left it on Staten Island since she failed to fight even when confronted. She talked a lot but it was mostly the same loops over and over: she only gets along with East Coast girls, she's street-smart, she's loyal, and she's loyal, know what I mean? She was scouted via Facebook to get here, and that's where she should have stayed. Now she can get back to modeling and piloxing.

TEAM BRITNEY - WON: nothing
(Possibly forfeited stipend)
He spent two weeks laying in HOH bed, parannoying his brains out even though he was perfectly safe, and his fall from HOH was the hardest we've ever seen. He head-butted himself out the door when he might have been saved by veto, so he'll go into the BB blunders pile. I didn't come in with Hantzophobia so I'm grateful for the cheap entertainment he brought, especially the Froot Loops war and Willieisms like 'key-hos', 'corn-ho', and 'totin' pole'. He's the first hamster to pose for his mug shot while his season was still underway.

TEAM DAN - WON: nothing
She brought a big name and rep to the show but didn't live up to either. She seemed like a nice enough girl but she didn't bring much to the feeds, and her sister wife wardrobe greatly disappointed her pre-existing fanbase. She'll be remembered for extra shiny knees and little else - she didn't even campaign to stay.

TEAM DAN, for a minute - WON: nothing
Most were looking forward to seeing what she'd bring, but she got a raw deal and was gone before the feeds even kicked on. She'd said she was worried about lack of privacy & sleep, missing her family, and slop, so maybe BB wasn't for her, and she got away without airing any dirty laundry. It had to be humiliating to go back in for the group bikini pic but that's how they do things.

NEWS & UPDATES

Along with your $1 text votes and the ability to increase ad rates across CBS.com due to increased traffic from your free online votes, CBS now has an extra $100k that was previously announced as the winning coach's prize. PLEASE STOP VOTING ON THEIR POINTLESS POLLS. Don't even get me started on their idiotic Flock to Unlock traffic and Twitter spam generator.

Producers will award the $25k viewer favorite to their choice - your free online votes just up their traffic so they can charge higher advertising rates across all of CBS.com. However if you must vote on this poll, I fully endorse Ian! If Ian should make it into the Final Two, I fully endorse Jodi! She got royally screwed by BB but has been a great sport about it, and very funny and personable on Twitter. Frank is the only other fan applicant this season, but Jodi's dreams of hamsterdom were shattered before she even had a chance to start.

Big Brother 14 taped Jenn's eviction on Tuesday, September 11 and the feeds were off for 33 hours. Showtime ran three hours from Tuesday morning on Tuesday night. The taped eviction aired on Wednesday, September 12, with another regular live eviction on Thursday, September 13. That leaves us with three hamsters to go into finale Wednesday, September 19. See Upcoming Events in right sidebar for a more complete schedule.

Congrats to Rachel Reilly & Brendon Villegas who finally got married on Saturday, September 8! The first Big Brother hamster-to-hamster wedding was attended by many BB alumni, with Matt Hoffman reportedly officiating. The wedding will air on WeTV in December, but I doubt it will be better than their trashbag wedding last year with Lawon officiating like no other could - it's still there on BB13 Flashback 8/2 10.36pm.

Congrats also to Julian Clary who won UK Celebrity BB! The comedian and self-described "renowned homosexual" took the publicly voted title on September 7 after a three-week run.

BB Australia began August 12 and is still underway. Like UK BB and UK Celeb BB, it doesn't have feeds anymore, but see Links of the Day for quick videos of air shows and related talk shows for all of them.

Evictee/ejectee Twitters are @WilHeuser, @JanellePierzina, @JoJoDoll1, @HantzBB, @KaraMonaco, @Jodisbox. Imposters are out there - these are the real ones. See my Linkage tab above or my Twitter list for more former hamster Twitters from all seasons.

You can still rewatch the BB13 feeds and Flashback on SuperPass, plus they continue to generate lots of original Big Brother and other reality content. A three-month subscription is $39.99 (or $14.99 for a montly subscription) and includes Flashback, mobile for iPhone, iPad, and Android phones, and $10 worth of free music every month: sign up now so you don't miss a thing!
