I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better
This site is about the Big Brother 15 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo

CBS shows are Sundays 8pm, Wednesdays 8pm, eviction Thursdays 9pm (changed from Tuesdays, live Wednesdays, Sundays).

Big Brother After Dark is on TVGN for two hours every night starting at midnight/9pm BB time (1 hour later Thursdays), and is censored. Beginning July 19, BBAD runs three hours on Fridays.

Canada runs the TV episodes on Global, and After Dark on Slice, uncensored.

Jury will be nine members, with two finalists.

Weeks 1, 2, 3: The MVP (Elissa) selected the third nominee, privately, and she didn't have to tell anyone she was MVP. If the MVP's nominee won veto, MVP selected the replacement.

Weeks 4, 5, 6: The MVP vote was to name the third nominee directly. If the viewer pick was HOH or and HOH nominee, the third nominee spot went to next highest vote getter.

BB15 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. Stipend for the others is $1,000 per week (up from $750), including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Elissa gets more.

The habitat has 65 cameras (up 12) and 98 microphones (same).

The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

Fraught with danger (Saturday 8/31)

Judd's 24-hour solitary, Spencer's 24-hour megaphone, and GinaMarie's 48-hour cone of shame went their full time, setting a nice new precedent, but that ended today as Judd and Spencer were relieved of their chicken suits about 12 hours early.. underdone chicken is a health hazard as we know, so we now have to watch out for salmonella as well as rabies in this toxic season.. also, GinaMarie had confirmation that she did indeed fracture her toe (but later went back to the medics weren't sure)

McCrae won the veto in something that involved spinning and throwing faux bowling balls, and tutus? Amanda was wearing a yellow one as she cried, a turquoise one was spotted on a bed, and GinaMarie had a pink one that she put on her head, ever the Deathrace 2013 champ.. it sounds like Judd was the one who sat out and/or hosted

Some beer materialized and daydrinking ensued.. Exterminators plus Elissa trashed Amanda & McCrae upstairs while Amanda & McCrae moped downstairs and trashed back.. Andy wasted no time covering both camps with sincere-sounding oaths of unwavering loyalty, like he does.. Judd suggested a hoax plan to convince McCrae to use his veto on Amanda and both would be saved (but really it would be so they could boot McCrae anyway), but I doubt that will fly.. I believe a veto holder has only saved a co-nominee twice before: it worked out well for Dick & Daniele, not so much for Rachel & Brendon

Daydrinking led to naps for most, but the campaign & bashing rounds started up again when they woke up.. a booze delivery brought a refreshing change when they all decided to play cards together for awhile.. they wanted to have the first loser (Andy) wear the chicken for an hour but BB said no, so they set him up with GinaMarie's pink tutu, and we have yet another case of who wore it better

Funfetti (Friday 8/30)

GinaMarie took a tumble down the stairs and hurt her back again, along with wrenching a toe in the railing - flashback 8/30 10.03am.. she said "I'm okay, I'm okay" almost before she landed.. Elissa said "this house is a deathtrap".. GinaMarie's toe started to bruise, and she eventually saw the medic who taped it up and said it could be broken - that would be our first BB broken bone I think

They had their "surprise comp" which turned out to be giant balloons all over the habitat they had to pop.. some had prize part chips inside and most had confetti, leaving the habitat a riot of multicolor mess they were cleaning up when the feeds returned.. Spencer got $10,000 and that seems to have been the only prize

Elissa said someone "strategically placed" a bunch of confetti debris in her BB bag as an act of "vandalism" and the feud between she & Amanda continued unchecked, stoked by some of the others.. GinaMarie held her meetings, and nominated Amanda & McCrae as planned - it came as a complete blindside, as planned

Amanda & McCrae retired to their bed, like they do, with a lot of Amanda saying "it doesn't make sense".. she got up after a few minutes and went up to HOH to confront GinaMarie, and they carried that on in a shouting match from balcony to main floor after Amanda left, with chickens wandering in and out - flashback 8/30 5.20pm.. GinaMarie held her own, Amanda lost her mind, Juddchicken jumped in for a second, Elissa got cocky, and Andy & Spencerchicken mostly steered clear of the crossfire.. Amanda eventually cooled down, like she does, and cried to McCrae about wanting to leave - she seems to have resigned.. McCrae remained catatonic in bed other than Diary calls, and it was a very uneventful night

Blame Amanda (Thursday 8/29)

Elissa was one of the first to bring Bigotgate out into the open in there and has often said what a "horrible person" Aaryn is for the things she's said, but she's changed her tune lately.. adding onto last night's anti-Amanda propaganda to Aaryn, this morning Elissa told Aaryn to blame her racist comments on Amanda if asked about them - flashback 8/29 10.33am.. never mind that Aaryn & Amanda were running in different circles back then and barely spoke, but Amanda did warn Aaryn "I think those of a difference race are taking your jokes offensively" - flashback 7/9 4.49pm, and Amanda also topped off Bedgate by reminding Aaryn about having warned her about her poor choice of words - flashback 7/11 11.13pm

In other developments, Judd & Aaryn upped their peck-kiss ante and made it onto the makeout pairings tally last night - flashback 8/29 3.10am.. Judd's literally becoming the go-to guy for the "kiss of death" in there

Aaryn was evicted 5-0 and Julie read some of her infamous quotes to her in the most scathing exit interview we've seen in a long time.. Sunday's show will have a "surprise competition" which will likely take place tomorrow, and next Thursday is another double eviction extravaganza, which will still leave us with one extra by my count, but maybe they'll do a taped eviction the following Tuesday to air on Wednesday, or maybe they'll bring four to finale.. we'll see

Flustercluck

GinaMarie won the HOH comp, which was feeding eggs through chicken wire and hopping them to a basket with their feet tied together - quite a feat with her bad back.. after Amanda shmoozed her for awhile, GM mouthed & gestured to us that Amanda was crazy and going up

As the losers of the comp, Judd & Spencer got their 48-hour chicken suits around 9.45pm, and did a quick chicken dance for the crowd before starting semi good-natured griping about the fit, the warmth, and the feets

Amanda and Elissa started up bashing each other as if on cue, making for some more very ugly feeds.. I'm grateful for the chickens, as I've never had two hamsters on ignore at the same time, and Amanda & Elissa are almost there for me.. GinaMarie got Britney Spears, a letter from mom, tooth whitener, perfume, White Castle burgers, flavored coffee, socks that she shared with everyone, and snacks - oh and the requisite CBS picture of Nick of course, thus keeping him alive a bit longer.. he owes GinaMarie in a big way since he'd have been long forgotten by most by now otherwise

Amanda vs Elissa carried on into the night, direct to each other and from each of them to everyone else.. both are guilty in their individual ways and it's beyond asinine.. GinaMarie's planning on putting up Amanda & McCrae and neither suspects as of now, so plan your Friday around nominations, usually around 5-6pm - the fallout could be epic

As always, you don't have to take my word for any of this: get the feeds for just $10 through the end of the season.. you can click "previous Hamsterwatch episode" at the top of any page to see what came before, and feel free to click the Amazon.com banner up there for any of your Amazon purchases anytime

Ratings - Farewell to Poopy edition

Ratings are Thursday's, based on entertainment value, kind of - they hold for Friday's follies
VTE = Voted to evict

We've had a few nasty finale revelations but I don't think we've ever seen anything like that. Even with the usual juror warning about no game or outside news, they had to do something with Aaryn to satisfy the bloodthirsty, but I don't think anyone expected Julie to read her more notorious quotes to her. Big ups to Julie and the producers for not copping out, and I only hope they confront GinaMarie, Amanda, and Spencer for their stuff as well so as not to propagate the problem of unfairly pinning all the sins on Aaryn alone. David, Jeremy, & Kaitlin got away clean but we're well past the point of no return now. I wonder if they had to put Aaryn in a straitjacket to keep her from bolting after she left Julie's boudoir.
PS I was a huge fan of the BB8 bunny suits and would have liked them to return, but I'm loving the chicken suits! Also, what's up with McCrae calling the giant laundry pile Towel Mountain© now? That was mine. I'd add that to his Dingoisms tally, but that would lead to a chicken vs egg question and/or more ridiculous rumors.

Won: 50 shades of orange
VTE Aaryn
NOMINATED
Drama on the feeds is one thing but she's gone way too far way too often, and it's not fun.
PS She's still there. Will you stop reading, spreading, and believing pasted-up fake Facebook rumors now? Good.

Won: Nothing yet
No vote (nominee)
BB5 Cowboy introduced us to that very useful word 'nervousing' and nothing describes Andy better today, both on the block and afterward, clearly uncomfortable with having to lie to his former teamies to stay in cahoots with his new ones. If Amanda finds out about the Exterminators and goes after him, it might not end well.

Won: Sit out 1 veto comp
No vote (HOH)
Her sniping style is obviously more understated than Amanda's but she's far from innocent in the continuing bloody cat 'n mouse game they keep playing. Her hypocrisy is transparent and tedious.

Won: 48 hour cone of shame
VTE Aaryn
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
Super big ups for winning another physical comp, especially one involving hopping and bending over the day after painfully wrenching her back. Anyone who's been there can relate and marvel at the accomplishment. She's said her share of stuff she shouldn't, but she balances it by her infectious childlike joy at simple pleasures and the occasional acts of kindness done for her. All signs point to her putting up Amanda & McCrae tomorrow, and I don't know if any of the rest of them would have the nerve to do that.

Won: $5,000, 24 hour solitary, revival, 48 36 hour chicken
VTE Aaryn
He did some griping about his chicken suit being too hot and shedding too much, but he countered it with silly poses and jokes. He seems sure to stick this week and the global agreement to boot whoever was revived will be even more forgotten than it is now.

Won: $5,000
VTE Aaryn
NOMINATED - HOLDS VETO
His showmance/BB marriage has a very good chance of being broken up this week and none too soon. I'm hoping he's the one who stays as he's still fun when he's hanging with anyone other than Amanda.

Won: $10,000, Bahamas trip, 24 hour megaphone, 48 36 hour chicken
VTE Aaryn
He popped a good funny saying Julie hasn't asked him anything in 10 weeks, and I'm glad he finally got a chance to vote again. He's also making some good chicken jokes and I hope he can keep that up.

Won: Nothing
She was Bigotgate's poster girl as it spread as far as USA Today, NY Times and international news outlets. Flipping Candice's bed didn't help, nor did her continual denial of having said anything wrong. The fact that Howard & Helen were evicted under her HOHs didn't help her rep, but they were as much game-related group decisions as they were personal. She lost most of her teamies early but she rallied and stuck til jury, largely due to winning four HOHs, making that record a six-way tie, as well as Amanda winning her over to do her dirty work. She had a fit about having her hat sat on, she drank nail polish remover, was a #Deathrace2013 contender for both roots & extensions, and her friend Clownie had a dedicated overnight feed many nights along with five suicide attempts.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to give mirror-face, most likely to waste away on slop, and most likely to either be booted early for no reason, or go to finals against someone they all hate and win
-Fail on all counts, but I don't think anyone expected what we got

Won: 2 night curfew, BBQ party
She started out okay but once she won HOH, she got a raging case of HOHitis that never cleared up. Her political background helped her manipulate them but she played it too heavy, and that was her undoing with both hamsters and feedsters. She learned about teabagging and dental dams this summer, but someone needs to tell her dentists use them too. She held nail parties, orchestrated activities, cried way too many fake tears and a few real ones, reminded everyone she's a mom more than BB9 Sheila Kennedy, and she overused 'I love you' like a teenage boy trying to get laid. #STFUHelen became a thing on Twitter for a few weeks, and it even trended on her eviction show.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to talk too much and too long.
-Check and double-check

Won: Nothing
She was a non-entity for most of the season other than crying over Helen's BBQ party (then going anyway) plus a knockdown drag-out with Amanda, until she got wind she was about to be evicted. Then she revved up Tropical Storm Jessie and swore she'd turn them all against each other after she left. That was fun for an afternoon and would have made her one of the most memorable hamsters of all time if she'd kept it up but alas, she fizzled, apologized, and will fade into obscurity with so many others. She had the reputation of being a man-izer but most of that happened before the feeds, and all we got was a 2-day sHOwmance with Judd.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to find herself without an alliance.
-Check, repeatedly

Won: $5,000, 1 week clown suit
She laid around with Howard until he left, and then she mostly laid around by herself. She still managed to figure in many of the fights, including one during the veto comp and one during her own eviction. I think a lot of their problems with her started before the feeds did, but it's fair to say she egged it on as well. She'll be remembered for tragic life stories, being the Mad Hatter sitting on hats (or not), Keepin' It Real With Candie, her crab shack story, meeting Julie in a clownitard, and the #BlameCandice hashtag game.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to say she's there 'for the experience'
-I don't know if she said that much or not

Won: Nothing
He was eloquent and animated in Diary but we didn't get that guy on the feeds. Instead he mostly laid around with Candice, held Bible study in the coach seats, and prayed in the photo booth. He isolated Candice and himself, killing both of their games, and their combined lack of awareness foiled any chance for his 11th hour save plan to succeed. He gave sudden speeches that few understood, but he wore Candice's tassel earrings and Judd's crown equally well.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to parannoy, eventually
-Fail - others freaked out for no reason more than he did

Won: Nothing
She was a caboose for the mean girl train and when she wasn't straddling Jeremy, she was laying around making out with him, including in her bestie's HOH bed whenever Aaryn stepped away. She took being widowed better than GinaMarie, but she had several days to prepare for it and seemed almost proud of making 'Big Brother history' by using her veto. Otherwise she brought eyebrow adventures, and apologies when she mouthed off, which is more than some.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to be intimidated, taken advantage of, and blindsided
-Fail, although Jeremy's eviction did blindside her.. taken advantage of is subjective

Won: Permanent Have-not pass
He claimed 1/16 Cherokee but he besmirched that heritage regularly, along with many others. He caused and starred in the big Winegate fight, smooched with Kaitlin while laying his hand on Aaryn's leg, wore a diaper, and mistakenly boasted he'd win every comp. He was a boy in a man's body, but his tattoos were nicer looking than most heavily tatted hamsters' have been. He'll be most remembered for being the asshat of BB15.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to get in a fight
-Check

Won: Nothing
He came in saying he hoped for stardom but it probably won't happen as a result of this show. Overnighters got to know his blue hoodie & cap well, and he was usually the last one to go to bed. That's usually good strategy but it didn't help him. The over-the-top character he played in pre-season interviews gave him a rough start with most, but he didn't stick long enough for us (me anyway) to get to know what he's really about.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to namedrop and be generally annoying
-Subjective, but I'll take it

Won: Nothing
He didn't bring much to the feeds and he seemed oblivious about how the show works, but those types are the ones who get blindsided and we always like to see that. The Aaryn & David Comedy Show was fun for a minute but all the controversy she fed took the fun out of that, so it's just as well he got gone early. Back to the beach and watching BB on the couch with mom.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to climb on stuff and be told 'Stop that!'
-Check, first night of feeds

LINES OF THE DAY

Saturday
Spencer: You're singing to the choir.. err.. preaching to the choir

Spencer: The grill isn't coming back

Amanda, as blackjack dealer:
-You're not playing against each other, you're playing against me and I'm playing against them
-See, now I'm on a losing streak because you all fucked up the game
