This site is about the Big Brother 15 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo

CBS shows are Sundays 8pm, Wednesdays 8pm, eviction Thursdays 9pm (changed from Tuesdays, live Wednesdays, Sundays).

Big Brother After Dark is on TVGN for two hours every night starting at midnight/9pm BB time (1 hour later Thursdays), and is censored. Beginning July 19, BBAD runs three hours on Fridays.

Canada runs the TV episodes on Global, and After Dark on Slice, uncensored.

Jury will be nine members, with two finalists.

Weeks 1, 2, 3: The MVP (Elissa) selected the third nominee, privately, and she didn't have to tell anyone she was MVP. If the MVP's nominee won veto, MVP selected the replacement.

Weeks 4, 5, 6: The MVP vote was to name the third nominee directly. If the viewer pick was HOH or and HOH nominee, the third nominee spot went to next highest vote getter.

BB15 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. Stipend for the others is $1,000 per week (up from $750), including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Elissa gets more.

The habitat has 65 cameras (up 12) and 98 microphones (same).

The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

Rinse cycle (Wednesday 9/4)

The last three seasons held their finales on Day 75, but we're now on Day 76 and we've still got seven of them - count 'em, SEVEN! and two weeks to go.. I skipped a day here and wasn't tweeting much either, partly due to dull feeds, partly due to rabid reactions that keep coming no matter how innocent the topic, and partly due to exhaustion

If you missed it, another blindside is in the works: Amanda & Elissa have long since made up their differences, more or less, and at this point it looks like Elissa will vote to evict Spencer, along with McCrae.. Andy has also told Amanda she has his vote, but he's probably lying about that and sticking with Exterminators.. thus it looks like a 2-2 tie tomorrow, with GinaMarie breaking it to evict Amanda

There's also a plan to blame Andy's vote on Elissa, but Amanda's fairly confident in her vote since she gave up her wedding ring as collateral - Elissa claims it's the real deal and Amanda believes it

We had another doozy of a fight show up when Amanda & GinaMarie went at it again, and with low blows - it honestly sounded like each was reading the last few weeks' worth of hate tweets about the other.. Elissa was napping, conveniently, and Amanda was fresh out of Diary, conveniently? The guys just sat there saying nothing, including McCrae, and GinaMarie & Andy kept playing their Jenga for most of it, without skipping a beat.. at one point Amanda & GinaMarie got in each other's faces, chest to chest, and Judd jumped up to separate them.. Amanda had a hint of a smile for that, like she did when she was going after Elissa - maybe she's just one of those nervous smilers.. flashback 9/4 9.20pm

It went on for a good long while, with cuts to fishies for the many mentions of medications, bulimia, pregnancies, and Howard's comment to Amanda.. they went back for another round, and it broke up when Andy, Judd and Spencer broke out laughing.. eventually GinaMarie apologized and said Amanda & McCrae could still have her room tonight, and Amanda took out her residual anger on McCrae for not coming to her aid

So that's where we stand going into Double Eviction Extravaganza 2.0, I think, but we'll still have one extra hamster to come out with three on the September 18 finale.. I'm expecting another eviction next Tuesday, September 10 to air the next day and pretend it's live - they're very cagey with their wording when they do that, and it usually means a morning taping for BBAD that night and feeds blocked for 24 to 36 hours

0

Labor Day (Monday 9/2)

McCrae used his veto on himself with an "I'm sorry" and GinaMarie put up Spencer in his place.. it's Spencer's 7th nomination, breaking a six-way tie for a single season and putting him in the record books

Most of them went back to bed after their meeting, but Elissa first wound up GinaMarie with some extra hate-mongering about Amanda & McCrae for good measure and/or finals vote seed-planting, inspiring GinaMarie to do some phone skits

The feeds were once again reset to the lower quality where quads have crackly audio and much freezing/loading, making this difficult to watch season even more difficult to watch for those of us who tend to stay on quads

0

Cocoons (Sunday 9/1)

Normally at Day 73 we'd have three of them left, all comps behind them except the final live Q&A, and their only worries would be who will get the final axe and what to wear to finale.. instead, we still have seven left and they're all in late-stage cocooning.. I'm not complaining, at least they aren't bashing each other and inciting viewers to come up with nastier bashes

I always say BB happens overnight and this season's had more of them stay up even later than usual.. combined with major stress plus major boredom, this naturally results in them sleeping until 1 or 2 in the afternoon, causing complaints from feedsters who want a daylight show.. we night owls are used to this kind of prejudice: we know better than to phone daytimers at 3am when we're at our peak, but we get called lazy if you catch us sleeping at 9 or 10am.. anyway, that's why there's flashback: you can watch the overnight gametalk and/or silliness at your convenience

It wasn't much better when they got up.. they did their photo booth thing, and snacked and napped.. meetings started up again, with some talk about McCrae using his veto on Amanda, but it was never more than talk.. the main event was Amanda & McCrae and GinaMarie about tomorrow's veto meeting.. McCrae stayed mostly quiet but jumped up when GinaMarie swore she's not working with Elissa: he asked if she'd shake on it and she did - he doesn't know that her currency is pinkyswears

Amanda kept repeating her "makes no sense" loops and later compared that back to how it "made no sense" during Moving Company days - if she was capable of stepping out of her own head for a minute, she'd be able to figure out why: Exterminators.. eventually GinaMarie told them flat out she's not putting up Elissa and that was that.. she either said or Amanda figured out Spencer's going up and Amanda's going out.. after that Amanda had a round of game review with most of the others, and she seems resigned to leave, again

As always, you don't have to take my word for any of this: get the feeds for just $10 through the end of the season.. you can click "previous Hamsterwatch episode" at the top of any page to see what came before, and feel free to click the Amazon.com banner up there for any of your Amazon purchases anytime

Ratings - Ruffled Feathers edition

Ratings are sort of based on entertainment value

This season has definitely been a case of the inmates taking over the asylum, and you have to wonder how they decide which threads to put on the show and which to bypass since they all change so frequently. I was surprised at Julie still ranting about Aaryn with David Letterman, but it's a good guess he was given the lead-in there - I don't think he's paid a snippet of attention to BB since being excited about there being a stripper in the house, and disappointed when BB1's Jordan was evicted.. err, banished. Since they're still not giving equal time to the other offenders, it's at least a good thing they didn't name Aaryn on the Late Show.

Won: 50 shades of orange
NOMINATED
Whether Wednesday night's fight was staged or not is irrelevant, it happened and it went places it shouln't have. It was funny yes, but only because all the ugly was finally out in the open. Amanda's played a pretty brilliant game and she could have easily gone the distance and won this thing if she hadn't mouthed off so often and so horribly, and for no reason. I have to wonder how she would have done here this summer if she wasn't on Adderall and Xanax. Yep, I went there. Also, I was really surprised they aired her slamming open the lounge door. Since no harm was done, they could have easily overlooked that but they didn't. Scott Weintraub was kicked off BB4 for throwing chairs when nobody was around, after having said 'scary' things. Amanda's said plenty of those and she definitely tried to smack Elissa with that door.. again, there must be a sliding scale.

Won: Nothing yet
Everyone's calling him a rat and for what? Doing what he thinks is best for his own game when he's a solo act against various pairings. They've all made false alliances and they've all turned on their teamies repeatedly, but he's the one who gets the flak for it. Contrary to popular belief and recent trends, Big Brother is not a team sport and there's only one winner in the end. Andy may have made some faulty and ultimately fatal decisions, we'll see, but at least he's brought us many shocked expressions (Wednesday's fight alone was packed with memorable Andy faces) and many held things.

Won: Sit out 1 veto comp
She's a gardener. She goes around with her holier than thou attitude and says how this one or that one is 'disgusting' as she plants little seeds of hate that grow and blossom, especially in that toxic environment. She did touch up GinaMarie's roots for her again and that was nice, as GM was on her 'disgusting' hit parade a hot minute ago. It was highly coincidental that she took a rare BBAD nap during Wednesday's fight, but that's how these things go. When she got up and joined the retells, she was talking normally and without her odd cadence. What's up with that?

Won: 48 hour cone of shame
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
She owned Amanda in Wednesday's fight, and easily, with a bonus for not contradicting Amanda when she said GM has no vote tomorrow - she will in a tie, which it could well be. They both went to low lows that nobody needs to go, but GinaMarie remained calm and even kept playing Jenga throughout! GinaMarie keeps saying things she shouldn't, but she apologizes for a lot of it and she has played the hell out of this game recently. I kept hoping her food issues wouldn't come out very loudly but now they have, and that won't help her a bit on top of all the flak she's going to get after it's all over.

Won: $5,000, 24 hour solitary, revival, 48 36 hour chicken
How come his 'STFU' got Elissa so wound up? She's spent weeks saying how all the digs and insults don't bother her, and suddenly one does? Amanda said far worse to her and so did others back in the beginning.. go figure. Big ups for being the only one to even acknowledge a gigantic fight was going on around them all by separating Amanda & GinaMarie without hesitation, and for pulling up his shirt 'Situation style' with a deadpan face when Amanda complained about there being too many guys in the house. Let's hope he doesn't go out again on a second eviction but if he does, he does, and we can turn off the feeds til the next eviction.

Won: $5,000
USED VETO ON SELF
I'm never a fan of nominees crying about it and I'm not making an exception for him just because he's a pal and Hamsterwatch chatter and has given me shoutouts this season. (My dog wants me to cut him some slack for mentioning her twice, but she's overruled.) He must really be in love and so I wish him all happiness there, with the disclaimer that I have a very bad track record for predicting post-show success or failure of BB showmances. Amanda and others may rail on him for not coming to her defense against GinaMarie, but when did Amanda ever need help before? Anyway he's been telling her for weeks to stop getting into all those brouhahas. His Old Yeller line was cute but surprising, coming on the heels of all my rabies references as well as the other BB, Breaking Bad, using the same analogy this week.. things that make you go hmmm. I'm looking forward to seeing him on his own in there, hopefully lasting and earning ups.

Won: $10,000, Bahamas trip, 24 hour megaphone, 48 36 hour chicken
NOMINATED
They neglected to mention on the CBS show that he volunteered to be the pawn once again since he felt safe and he was jonesing to get that record that he now holds. That's all I got for him for now.

Won: Nothing
She was Bigotgate's poster girl as it spread as far as USA Today, NY Times and international news outlets. Flipping Candice's bed didn't help, nor did her continual denial of having said anything wrong. The fact that Howard & Helen were evicted under her HOHs didn't help her rep, but they were as much game-related group decisions as they were personal. She lost most of her teamies early but she rallied and stuck til jury, largely due to winning four HOHs, making that record a six-way tie, as well as Amanda winning her over to do her dirty work. She had a fit about having her hat sat on, she drank nail polish remover, was a #Deathrace2013 contender for both roots & extensions, and her friend Clownie had a dedicated overnight feed many nights along with five suicide attempts.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to give mirror-face, most likely to waste away on slop, and most likely to either be booted early for no reason, or go to finals against someone they all hate and win
-Fail on all counts, but I don't think anyone expected what we got

Won: 2 night curfew, BBQ party
She started out okay but once she won HOH, she got a raging case of HOHitis that never cleared up. Her political background helped her manipulate them but she played it too heavy, and that was her undoing with both hamsters and feedsters. She learned about teabagging and dental dams this summer, but someone needs to tell her dentists use them too. She held nail parties, orchestrated activities, cried way too many fake tears and a few real ones, reminded everyone she's a mom more than BB9 Sheila Kennedy, and she overused 'I love you' like a teenage boy trying to get laid. #STFUHelen became a thing on Twitter for a few weeks, and it even trended on her eviction show.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to talk too much and too long.
-Check and double-check

Won: Nothing
She was a non-entity for most of the season other than crying over Helen's BBQ party (then going anyway) plus a knockdown drag-out with Amanda, until she got wind she was about to be evicted. Then she revved up Tropical Storm Jessie and swore she'd turn them all against each other after she left. That was fun for an afternoon and would have made her one of the most memorable hamsters of all time if she'd kept it up but alas, she fizzled, apologized, and will fade into obscurity with so many others. She had the reputation of being a man-izer but most of that happened before the feeds, and all we got was a 2-day sHOwmance with Judd.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to find herself without an alliance.
-Check, repeatedly

Won: $5,000, 1 week clown suit
She laid around with Howard until he left, and then she mostly laid around by herself. She still managed to figure in many of the fights, including one during the veto comp and one during her own eviction. I think a lot of their problems with her started before the feeds did, but it's fair to say she egged it on as well. She'll be remembered for tragic life stories, being the Mad Hatter sitting on hats (or not), Keepin' It Real With Candie, her crab shack story, meeting Julie in a clownitard, and the #BlameCandice hashtag game.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to say she's there 'for the experience'
-I don't know if she said that much or not

Won: Nothing
He was eloquent and animated in Diary but we didn't get that guy on the feeds. Instead he mostly laid around with Candice, held Bible study in the coach seats, and prayed in the photo booth. He isolated Candice and himself, killing both of their games, and their combined lack of awareness foiled any chance for his 11th hour save plan to succeed. He gave sudden speeches that few understood, but he wore Candice's tassel earrings and Judd's crown equally well.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to parannoy, eventually
-Fail - others freaked out for no reason more than he did

Won: Nothing
She was a caboose for the mean girl train and when she wasn't straddling Jeremy, she was laying around making out with him, including in her bestie's HOH bed whenever Aaryn stepped away. She took being widowed better than GinaMarie, but she had several days to prepare for it and seemed almost proud of making 'Big Brother history' by using her veto. Otherwise she brought eyebrow adventures, and apologies when she mouthed off, which is more than some.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to be intimidated, taken advantage of, and blindsided
-Fail, although Jeremy's eviction did blindside her.. taken advantage of is subjective

Won: Permanent Have-not pass
He claimed 1/16 Cherokee but he besmirched that heritage regularly, along with many others. He caused and starred in the big Winegate fight, smooched with Kaitlin while laying his hand on Aaryn's leg, wore a diaper, and mistakenly boasted he'd win every comp. He was a boy in a man's body, but his tattoos were nicer looking than most heavily tatted hamsters' have been. He'll be most remembered for being the asshat of BB15.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to get in a fight
-Check

Won: Nothing
He came in saying he hoped for stardom but it probably won't happen as a result of this show. Overnighters got to know his blue hoodie & cap well, and he was usually the last one to go to bed. That's usually good strategy but it didn't help him. The over-the-top character he played in pre-season interviews gave him a rough start with most, but he didn't stick long enough for us (me anyway) to get to know what he's really about.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to namedrop and be generally annoying
-Subjective, but I'll take it

Won: Nothing
He didn't bring much to the feeds and he seemed oblivious about how the show works, but those types are the ones who get blindsided and we always like to see that. The Aaryn & David Comedy Show was fun for a minute but all the controversy she fed took the fun out of that, so it's just as well he got gone early. Back to the beach and watching BB on the couch with mom.
My pre-season prediction:
-Most likely to climb on stuff and be told 'Stop that!'
-Check, first night of feeds

Bigotgate oozed farther beyond our insulated BB world more than any prior scandal, going all the way to TMZ, CNN, The New York Times, and international news & media outlets. Aaryn Gries and GinaMarie Zimmerman were fired from real world jobs as a result of bigoted remarks on the BB15 feeds, Aaryn from two modeling contracts and GinaMarie from her pageant company. Spencer was investigated by local law enforcement for his bad joke, and his employer Union Pacific issued two statements about him. (Spencer is a union employee.)
