Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 23 - Thursday 7/11/19

But first some catch-up from last night: Sam told Nicole about the group of eight, and said they fluctuate between calling them eight and nine when talking to him, proving to him that he's the ninth and persona non grata. What he doesn't know is the Gr8ful group had decided to cut out Nick and Bella and move forward with Six Shooters, with Sam as the add-on again, this time as their seventh. Nick and Bella don't know that yet either.

Jackson took his self-appointed eavesdropping duty seriously, and he listened in to this morning's Cliff Notes for a half hour or so, then retold to various people in various combos. Among other things, Cliff talked about the missing Orwell and how he carries it around during After Dark as a shoutout to his wife. Analyse said she wanted to cut it open after hearing that. Jackson wanted to set up Cliff, Bella, Nick by telling them they were going to keep Kemi, but Jack shot down that idea. Kemi's still due to move in with Ovi and David at this point.

An aerial shot of the backyard last night showed a big target so tonight's HOH comp could be an archery-themed crapshoot - we'll find out soon enough! Unrelated, Twitter went down worldwide a little before noon, shortly after hamsters were called to HOH lockdown for the crew to run tech rehearsal downstairs.

The show recap was another inaccurate and positive edit for the Jacks, and I'll leave it at that. Jessica gave a boilerplate kumbaya speech, but Kemi added a scorcher to hers, calling out Nick and Bella by name. She did leave out the snake comment she'd rehearsed earlier. Kemi was voted upstairs 10‑1, with Jackson the dissenting vote. He said "let's kickstart this thing" when he cast his vote. The HOH comp was indeed archery: titled Power Shot, they had to toss an arrow underhand onto a big target with numbered rings, one shot each, highest score wins. There were also targets for $5,000 and safety for this week, but nobody went for them. Scores were Analyse 50, Jessica 5, Christie 65, Nick 90, Sam 70, Jackson 70, Tommy 35, Cliff 15, Bella 75, Kat 0, Nicole 15, Holly 0, giving Nick the win. (We found out later they had practiced.) Julie chatted with them all afterwards and tried to bait Kemi into getting snippy, but she didn't.

Feeds came back to chaos. Jackson wasted no time eagerly trying to pin his hinky vote on Nicole, to Nick. Nick said he'd been thinking of putting up Cliff and Jessica, with Nicole as renom if needed, "but now..." (Later he said he'll go with Cliff and Nicole.) Bella and Kemi had a short but heated spat (7.24pm), launching the fights tally. Each laid a hand on the other (in a back off kind of way, not a violent way), so that's a wash, and Sam quickly stepped in to break it up at that point. Analyse whined to Jack in the pantry that he always goes to Christie when something happens, and he was calm, quiet, and extremely condescending about it to her, and then he griped to Christie later. Apparently Jackson asked Holly to cast a hinky vote earlier but she didn't want to, and he confirmed to her that he did it. He asked her not to tell Jack or Christie, and then they too landed on the tally with a loud and slurpy makeout session.

Kemi came out from Diary in her Camp Comeback outfit and promptly tripped, but she was okay. Everyone ooh'd and ahh'd at how cute the outfit was on her, and she said she has it with skirt or shorts, plus a swimsuit she was was ugly, and workout clothes she said were cute. Whisperings kept going all evening, with anti-Kemi meetings all over, Jackson pushing his Blame Nicole agenda hard, Nicole telling Jackson and Nick that if she'd own it if she'd done it, Bella explaining her version of things to Jessica, Nicole crying to Holly about letting herself be vulnerable and kicking herself for it, Jessica and Kat comparing notes going back to the beginning, and later Kemi giving her side of things to Jessica. Jessica seemed lost in all those convos, and had more than a few moments of shock.

Nick got his room around 11.25pm, and everyone attended. He had pics of his mom, dad, and baby self, beer, socks from Pop, a baseball cap, his comfy slippers from home, music by Logic, and the usual convenience store counter's worth of cookies, candy, and snacks. His letter was from his dad, and he got through it okay but had a major sniffle with the post-reading hugs. Later Cliff gave Kemi props for "being classy up there" and said he knew the whole HOH room party probably hadn't been easy for her. Nick switched back to thinking Cliff and Jessica for his noms, saying he didn't want to put up Nicole, and he figured Jackson had been pushing his anti-Nicole agenda too hard and may have cast that vote himself. He also said he didn't want to put up Kat. Kat and David had a flirty convo in the lounge, with her saying she'll campaign for him to re-enter the game (if it's a vote) but she couldn't do that if people think they're a couple. He teased he'd have to flirt with Kemi instead, and he hoped Kat and Brett work out.

Ovi pitched to Jackson that the two of them should work with Nicole, Cliff, Holly, and Jackson said he'd like that. Nick told Nicole he wasn't going to put her up, and Bella and Nicole had a long talk about the hinky vote, with Bella saying she and Nick thought it was probably Cliff or Jackson. Jackson found out from Holly and Kat that Holly knew about his and Kat's history in there, and he asked them if there's ever been a threesome showmance.

Day 24 - Friday 7/12/19

Nicole told Cliff he'd been overheard by Christie the other day (but not that nearly everyone knew about it), and he apologized to her for any inadvertent damage that may have caused. The HOH group said they thought he knew before this and had been saying false info in hopes it would spread. Christie and Jack agreed they'd shmoozed Nick enough that he wasn't going backdoor any of the Six (previously they'd said Gr8ful is dead in favor of Six Shooters, cutting Nick and Bella.) Cliff told Nick he was trying to distance himself from Nicole and that he was "floating," not part of any group, and "still looking for a place to land." He offered to go up as a pawn if needed, which Nick happily told the rest of his group.

Feeds went down for the third and final Whacktivity comp a little before 11am, with Analyse, Christie, Jessica, Nick competing for whatever "classic" power Panic will turn out to be. Feeds popped back on for a few minutes, showing a bin of squirming cockroaches as well as some staffers glimped behind them, so this comp's a creepy-crawly one.

Feeds were down four and a half hours. The Whack comp was digging through/around the cockroaches for letters and letter combos, to solve an anagram puzzle: DON'T MEET JULIE ON EVICTION NIGHT. Retells were animated, particularly by Christie, who added a zillion personal details, like she does. Christie and Jessica said they finished in the 20 minutes allotted for each, and Analyse and Nick said they didn't. Then Jessica said she didn't finish, and she ran to the bathroom when called out on the contradiction. Kat followed her and Jessica told her "don't look at me like that, we'll talk later." When they did talk later, Jessica said she didn't win. Competitors were told the power could potentially help them win the season, if utilized well. Jackson showed off his newly chipped teeth, apparently a result of grinding them.

Christie continued doing several dozen animated retells all over town about the comp, the cockroaches, her PMS heightening her senses, and the like, but eventually she pulled Tommy into the archery room to tell him she won it, "and it's big." She said she got diamond power of veto, to be used secretly at any of the next four veto meetings. If you'll recall, or not, BB12 diamond veto was used to save one nominee and name the replacement, which was done live on the eviction show. Eviction would make sense in sequence with the other two Whack powers: one for noms, one for veto, and one for eviction. Christie may have confused that part - we'll find out on Sunday's show when it's clearly spelled out. Jack joined them and she did not share the news with him, but he did describe his power, which Tommy wasn't supposed to know about yet (but Christie already told him).

Nick nominated Cliff and Jessica, as planned, and then all hell broke out (6.42pm). The group of eight plus Sam met in HOH, with most of them eventually shouting and screaming, mostly about Nicole. Apparently Nicole approached Bella before noms to stress that she wasn't the rogue vote, and Bella told Nick seconds before he went to Diary for noms that Nicole had said the two of them were bullying her, and that Jack, Jackson, Analyse, Holly wanted Nicole to win HOH last night so she'd put Nick and Bella on the block for them. Bella led the anti-Nicole charge with multiple retells (and occasionally laughing and jumping with Tommy), and Christie joined in enthusiastically and loudly. All of them were loud, drawing attention from downstairs as well as Camp Comeback next door. Nicole tried to go into HOH but was turned away, as was Cliff. Ovi told them through the HOH door it wasn't nice what they were doing, he was turned away, and Christie said he'd "threatened" them earlier about the no gametalk rule. Kat went up to see what was going on, and reported they said they were joking and laughing. A few minutes later Nick told Cliff they'd been fighting.

In the pantry, Christie told David to call a house meeting if he wanted to reverse the Comebackers' no gametalk rule (instituted by Jack). Again, this despite her telling the HOH mob that Ovi had "threatened" earlier about that. Jack and Christine aggressively told him to call for a house vote if he wanted one, as "it's a democracy." David then counseled Nicole to back off, smile, let it go, and added "it's gonna be hard." David then told Ovi he'd let all the emotions get to him, and added "you cannot do that!" He went on to school Ovi some more about BB, human nature, and angry mobs. Jack popped in for a minute to grab something and said "fatties" to them. Later they all sat down to family dinner, except Nicole who was in Diary, and ran their gratitude circle with various self-congratulations and LOUD TABLE BANGING.

Later Christie tried to explain and shmooze Nicole, and Nicole then sobbed to Kat about being targeted for telling the truth about things Bella had said, plus Nick and Bella's group having turned against them, but now pretending they hadn't. Many one-on-ones ensued, as did many tears from Nicole and many consolations for her, sincere and otherwise. Finally Bella sat down with her, but it did not go well (7/13 12.19am). Bella was condescending, accusatory, insulting, and then left without giving Nicole her chance to speak. Tommy was there as witness/referee, like he often is. Of course retells ensued.

Day 25 - Saturday 7/13/19

Fallout from last night carried on with retells and resentment, depending who was talking. Christie made up some stuff about her power (which she probably isn't allowed to do), Nick resented Nicole talking about her anxiety to allegedly earn his confidence (even though Nicole cried for hours about regretting having revealed personal vulnerabilities), and Christie pushed to keep Nicole this week (even though she's not on the block. Yet.) Feeds went to fishies frequently all morning for major and minor offenses, sometimes for seemingly nothing at all. Christie plus Tommy told Jack that she won the Panic comp and diamond veto, and they dubbed their trio LOL for "Lots of Love."

Their veto draw was hours later than usual, finally happening after 2pm. Players will be Nick, Cliff, Jessica plus Christie, Jackson, Kat, and Holly to host unless another guest host bumps her like Kaycee and Tyler bumped Tommy and Nick. Jessica got Houseguest Choice again, and she picked Christie (which makes as much sense as when she picked Jackson last week). Jack did not use his power. That roster leaves Nicole defeated and basically out the door, at least the way things stand now. But of course BB can turn on a dime, especially in the kind of volatile powder keg they've got in there now.

Nicole cried to Jessica about her situation, Kat and Bella had an anti-Nicole meeting, and Jessica took her Nicole retells to Tommy, who said "I'm the innocent bystander here." Christie told Jessica and Kemi she didn't like hearing Nicole was feeling down, and said she didn't like anyone feeling ganged up on (never mind that she was one of the ringleaders od the whole gang-up-on-Nicole movement.)

Then Bella and Nicole sat down to hash it out again, but again it didn't go well (5.44pm). Nicole did get to speak this time, and she alluded to Bella walking out on her last night, saying "educated adults" don't do that. Bella latched on to the "uneducated" part, and more barbs and buzzwords were exchanged and repeated including "harping" and "bullying." Kat left, and Nick, Tommy, Sam, Holly joined. Reminder once again: Tommy, Sam, Holly all knew the eight-plus-Sam had effectively cut Nick and Bella until Nick won HOH.

Nicole again tried to explain the past two days, then Nick took over and interrogated her. He ranted and raved about Nicole allegedly saying he'd been a "bully," and then he said “is your anxiety even real? Because if it's just game, then respect.” All feeds cut to Jessica yammering about something at that point, but returned shortly after. On and on it went, with most everyone else sitting down to dinner except Nicole, Nick, Tommy, Holly. Nicole talked about being alone on her raft, hating that her insecurities were used against her, and she eventually apologized for having been misunderstood. Bella eventually returned and went a few more rounds with Nicole, Nick told Nicole to tell him if Bella's causing her problems, and Christie, Tommy, Jack talked in the pantry about keeping Nicole after all (if she ends up on the block), and then telling her afterwards the six saved her to try to lure her in with them. Christie began that talk by saying she had "an amazing DR where I had this revelation."

Feeds went to adoptable anipals for their veto comp at 7.30pm and came back around 9.45pm, and Kat had won the veto. It was a puzzle comp where they had to find and gather 17 pieces, in fog, and put together a person, and Kaitlyn hosted (cute BB, real cute). Everyone agreed Kat smoked it, and they said it was a fun comp. Kaitlyn said something about "stop talking shit about us [BB20]" and Christie took that personally, as she's bashed Kaitlyn here and there, and Christie also said she didn't care. Kat was thrilled, called herself a comp beast, and she had a pantry celebration with Jessica and told her she would absolutely use it on her. Jack told Jackson that Nick and Bella were "trying to fuckin eliminate the one witness to all their bad shit [Nicole]" and "they still did all that bad shit, and so did we." (At least he admits it.) They said they'd meet with the six about keeping Nicole, and gunning for Nick and Bella. Kat then told the two of them Nicole had told her about the big group, and "she was trying to tell me I was next." The Jacks didn't react to the alliance roster but Jackson said "no" to the last part.

Nick got all worked up with Holly, Analyse, Tommy in HOH, certain they could get Nicole out, and bashing Ovi, and planning down the road for the eight. Holly retold some of the Nicole vs Bella to Jack and Christie, and Christie brought up "all the lies that Bella told me," and said she didn't like seeing Nicole or anyone sad and crying. Jackson hurt his ankle again during the comp, jumping or falling off a stage. Retells and rehashes carried on, including Bella giving her version to Cliff. Nicole stayed mostly in her room talking with Kemi.

So as of now, Kat will veto Jessica, Nick will renom Nicole, and Nick and Bella will be blindsided when Cliff's evicted. But it's a very long time til they vote, and this group has a major chaos event every day. Plus few of them can keep their mouths shut.. much could change before Thursday.

Get the feeds to watch it all unfold live and/or with flashback!

Day 26 - Sunday 7/14/19

Despite everything, Cliff was still doing his morning talks, but a bit quieter. Today he said he thought Nicole was the primary target and he's number two, which was accurate until last night. However, he also said he thought working with Bella and Nick would help him, and he thought Bella might have the Nightmare power and that it might benefit him. Kat slept with her veto, Kemi and Nicole continued whispering to each other, Christie revved up her anti-Bella campaign, the six agreed not to talk about their plan to keep Nicole in case they're overheard, Jackson kept eating, the Goofs Tally kept growing, and the fanbase including several alums continued speaking out about the faulty edits and total omission of the Jacks' problematic language and behavior.

Cliff talked to Kat about the veto, and said no hard feelings if she uses it on Jessica but would he have her vote against Nicole, and Kat assured him he would "100%". Nick and Kemi finally had a chat about their issues. She said she likes to be alone when upset and didn't appreciate him throwing that in her face. He said he felt he'd been there for her all along, so didn't appreciate her nominee speech when he didn't have a chance to defend himself. Tommy was there as witness/mediator (spy) again, and when they ended without really solving anything, he said "good talk guys, you guys did it, amazing!" When he left, Kemi told us she's ready to go home, and flopped on her bed. Jack had a hissy fit to the six about having caught David gametalking with Sam and Bella, despite Jack's rule against that.

Nick and Analyse have been cuddling all along, but today Bella saw them and cried to Tommy and Sam, and later confronted Nick about it. Nick said he wasn't cuddling with her, "I just had my head laying on her." He stressed he really likes her (Bella), didn't want to jeopardize anything with her, and he'd stop cuddling or kissing other girls' cheeks. Nick then retold to Analyse, saying he wasn't going to "lay around with people" or flirt with her anymore, to respect Bella's wishes. Analyse then told Bella she was sorry if she and Nick were "too close" and they're "just friends," and Bella acted like she had no idea why Analyse was saying that. Later Bella did talk to Analyse about it a little, saying she'd been mad at Nick but not at her.

The backyard finally opened and Christie spotted a lizard. She cooed and called to it, and said it could feel her love, and she wanted to catch it and take it to Diary. Sam helped wrangle the little guy, they trapped it in a basket, and Christie took it to the pantry for staff to - I don't know what she thought they'd do with it. Nick gave a marathon retell of his Bella/Analyse triangle to Tommy and Jack, and another later to Analyse.

Drama broke out but it was behind extended fishies. Piecing it together from retells, apparently Jackson yelled at Kat for "running her mouth" after she made a joke, which she later called her "troll humor" about their first days hookup. Kat was crying and later told Holly she was sorry if she'd said anything to make Holly feel uncomfortable. Holly said she hadn't, and Kat again said she had no problems with Jackson and Holly being an item, and that she was glad the whole thing unfolded as it had. Kat was still wearing her veto by the way. Then they griped about Kemi being an "entitled bitch." Jack told Analyse not to worry about the Nick/Bella drama, and "fuck Jackson, Jackson's screaming at Kat." Jackson later said he "doesn't really have much sympathy for people that get called out on their shit and can't own up to it." Kat later told Jessica that she'd been scared as Jackson had told (her or Holly) he had a domestic violence record.

There was an incident with Kemi rubbing some leftover cortizone cream into a towel, which Jack called her out on, and that spread until it grew into something disastrous. The Six talked about alternate plans in case Kat doesn't use her veto on Jessica, but Holly told them Kat will do as she's said because they have "a ton of mutual friends" and if one betrayed the other it would look bad.

Tommy worked on Analyse (in new look) for a long time, explaining to her that neither Jack nor Nick would put her first. He also got her to say she wanted to win HOH so she could be the one to evict Nick. (Later Nick told Bella that Analyse as HOH would be the only one he'd feel safe with - oops.) Kat and David had a long, very flirty convo in Camp Comeback. She retold the Jackson drama, they talked about her game and lack of same, and showmances in general - she said she didn't like them. He gave her a quick kiss before running down the stairs to "dunk" Jack. Kemi and Sam had a long gametalk, which Kemi reported to Nicole along with the news that she'd be going up in Jessica's place. Bella mixed up gross concoctions for a game Jack proposed - he and David each lost and had to drink them. Jessica, Kat, and Kat's veto did a talk show from their bed with various guests popping in.

Big Brother 21 SEASON FAQ
Day 1 Move-in was June 19
Day 7 CBS premiere was June 25
Day 8 Feeds began June 26
Day 99 Finale is September 25

Feeds are streamed by CBS, and Flashback is accessible via All Access subscription. Call 888-274-5343 for account help, including cancellation.

*Effective July 10* Air shows on CBS (Global in Canada) are Sundays 8pm, Wednesdays 9pm, eviction Thursdays 9pm.

Big Brother After Dark on Pop TV will be every night midnight to 3am (an hour later on Wednesdays and Thursdays). The aired blocks are live (or recorded earlier the same night, depending on your cable provider).

The CBS app (by CBS Interactive) plays BB air shows and other CBS shows, as well as feeds, or you can use your browser to watch feeds on mobile devices. The same All Access link used to subscribe will lead to the feeds viewing page if you're already signed up.

BB21 finalist prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and (probably still) $50k for 2nd place. Stipend for the others to be confirmed if/when they mention it on feeds.

The habitat has 94 HD cameras (no change) and 113 microphones (no change).

The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman. He and Julie Chen are the only staffers who have been there since Big Brother 1.

and other pets. Never put it on or near a television, radio or hi-fi, or a fridge."
