Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 67 - Saturday - October 10, 2020

This day began like a parody but it's not. First Memphis told Enzo that it might be better if he stays on the block, and if Cody or Enzo win veto they shouldn't use it. (Wouldn't that be something?) Then Christmas launched into another of her delusional peptalks, again saying they're the best final six [five] ever, a lot of alums turned down this season because they were scared of competing, and "new legends" are coming along all the time so future all-stars could be just as awesome as them. Enzo's face says it all.

Christmas then held a shmooz-a-thon with Nicole in HOH, saying she doesn't want "these three dudes to pull us along and then fucking pluck us off, that will infuriate me." Of course Nicole agreed. They rehashed the season again, and Christmas said she'll understand if Nicole has the F2 option and doesn't take her, and she said she doesn't want "what happened last time to happen this time" (being cut at F3). Of course Nicole agreed to that too, and again played up her standing spiel that she wouldn't win against anyone. Both of them then retold to themselves/us, as is the hamster way lately.

Feeds went to adoptable anipals at 1.11pm for their veto comp and returned around 5.40pm. It was BB Comics and Nicole won, the sixth time this season the HOH has won the veto. She told Cody and Enzo that Christmas and Memphis would probably try to get her to use it to backdoor one of them but she said she'll keep noms the same. They had 40 minutes to complete this time, and nobody timed out. Times were Nicole 11 minutes, Cody 16 minutes, Christmas 27 minutes, Enzo 28 minutes, Memphis 31 minutes. The comics were:
-Bayleigh's Comet, parody of Halley's Comet
-Christmas Mrs Claws, "slashing through the snow" and "she'll sleigh you"
-Cody Cala-fury tornado
-Dani The Regulator "she married into the worst alliance"
-David and Goliath
-Da'Vonne's they didn't understand, something with "nightmares"
-Enzo Meow Meow "don't let this cat get you by the tongue"
-Ian Dirk Spacejammer
-Janelle The Bombshell "bye bye bitches"
-King Kaysar
-Keesha Birthday Girl popping out of a cake
-Kevin Bandana-mal pun on his bandanas, riding a lion
-Memfist
-Nicole A On Air with her podcast
-Nicole F Cereal Killer in her SLOPPIES box
-Tyler's they didn't understand, something with "follicles"

Christmas laid out a script for Memphis to pitch to Nicole to use it to get Cody or Enzo out, and Memphis humored her, but later told Enzo he knows Nicole won't use it. He'll probably make a pitch anyway as a formality, and he told Enzo they have to keep saying Wise Guys to Cody to remind him he belongs with them. Nicole told Enzo "Memphis has to go" but she said she'd listen to ideas or opinions.

They were hoping for an expecting a booze delivery, which finally arrived around 9.40pm: a bottle of wine and two beers. They did their careful divvying up as Diaries began. You'd think the timing might be to loosen them up for their comp retells, but they said they'd had to redo them last week as the Saturday night Diaries were a bit too sippy. With Memphis in Diary, the other four exchanged pet peeves about their significant others, and when Christmas was called to Diary, Nicole quickly poured her HOH wine for herself, Cody, Enzo before Memphis made it upstairs. Ages later Memphis left and Nicole poured out the rest of her wine, but Christmas came in and busted them as Nicole was running into the bathroom to hide the empty bottle. Booze once again delivered excessive starfishies throughout.

Day 68 - Sunday - October 11, 2020

Picking up where we left off last night, after Christmas left HOH, Nicole spent probably a half hour trying to come up with a cover story for why she was running into the bathroom with her empty wine bottle. Ridiculous. But the scandal du jour was inspired by something around the same time. Memphis was already in bed of course, and Christmas was hitting her own bed. She asked if Memphis had gotten more wine (as Nicole predicted she would), but separately Memphis made some joke that Christmas didn't get. He said "something an old comedian used to say, 'taste the rainbow,' remember Dane Cook? That was part of his skit." Christmas approached his bed, in the dark/greenlight, and said "where's your face? I'm trying to tell you something." He laughed, she couldn't find him in the dark, and said "no I'm not gonna tell you, now I'm self conscious about it." He said "whatever" and she said "how long have you been waiting for that?" He said "I thought you were gonna tell me something good." Then she approached his bed again, found his face again, and whispered something. He chuckled and said "she's got jokes people, she's got jokes." She made her way back to her own bed again and said "I'm like Julie, I got jokes." Then he returned to Dane Cook, "he used to always whisper in people's ears 'taste the rainbow'." So no big deal, right? Granted they may have been getting a bit flirty lately but not overtly. My take on this one is she whispered a dirty joke she didn't want to say aloud. But BB Twitter decided - sans context or Dane Cook before and after - that they'd had a kiss in the dark. Flashback 10/11 1am and decide for yourself.

And that's the extent of excitement or even mild interest today, thus far. Memphis made a non-pitch to Nicole, saying she probably knows what she's going to do and nothing he says would convince her otherwise. She lied and said she didn't know what she'll do, and he told her he was happy he got to know her, and "you're the cutest, I think your spirit is amazing." The backyard finally opened, and Christmas and Memphis got a little snippy with each other about laundry. Feedsters eagerly awaited a passionate something or other, and Nicole tried to encourage it(?) by asking Christmas if Memphis is her type, if she were single. Then she grinned at Enzo saying Christmas and Memphis were both on their fourth cup of coffee and "something's going down today, mark my words." Then she stressed to Enzo and Cody the importance of sticking to her wine coverup story, and joked that she should take Christmas off the block to smooth over the wine disaster with her, and to prevent Cody and Enzo from flipping and voting her out.

Extended starfishies started up again in the evening, like they do. Cody and Enzo had several chats here and there about who to boot, and they always following the same loops. Each time they say they're leaning towards voting Memphis out, then they say they'll wait til the noms are finalized at veto meeting, and then they say they have lots of time to decide before Thursday. They discuss maybe voting out Christmas (which Enzo would prefer), and they question why Nicole's so adamant about wanting Memphis out, deciding that must mean she made a deal with Christmas. Then they circle back to they'll probably vote Memphis out as that's what Nicole wants, and she'll turn against both of them if they do that. And they agree they have to win these upcoming comps, of course. And then to more starfishies, five hours worth this time.

Christmas approached Nicole about the veto, and suggested she pitch a deal to Memphis, and have a talk with Enzo, with the goal of sending Cody out. Nicole told her she'd talk to them, but if Christmas stays on the block, Nicole will ensure she stays as she wants Memphis gone. Nicole reported to Enzo, and Cody, that Christmas wanted Cody backdoored, and she asked how she could get Christmas to stop bugging her about it. Nicole never was and still isn't going to use her veto but even if that wasn't already decided, Memphis finally went to HOH with a pitch for Nicole that included him saying he thought he'd beat her in finals, and he also said he has no other final three deals. Yep, he said that.

Day 69 - Monday - October 12, 2020

Hamsters scurried around like maniacs before the veto meeting, with Memphis and especially Christmas thinking there was a chance Nicole would use it, and the others knowing she wouldn't. Nicole wore kittens and did her hair "little girl" style, which probably wins over some tv-onlies who don't hear the rest of it. Every chat was followed by frenzied retells, vote predictions, and finals discussions. Nicole told Cody she hopes Dr Will will "help the jury" decide a worthy winner rather than voting personally, and at one point between meetings she told us "I do feel like a mastermind a little bit." Nicole finally told Memphis she wasn't using it but Christmas kept pushing for a Cody backdoor up to the last minute. Early in a season this kind of pointless scurrying around and panic is comical when we know nothing is going to change but late season, especially this season, it's just tedious.

Nicole did not use her veto and feeds returned to the usual post-meeting Monday activities of sunning and snacking. Christmas went into the pantry for something and said to herself/us "can I just steal the veto from rigt there?" and she popped open its little box for a second. No ma'am, you cannot steal it. And on we go into the second/much longer part of the week. Even though Nicole, Cody, Enzo decided many times to evict Memphis, expect a whole lot of waffling anyway, and a lot more campaigning by both nominees. Cody and Nicole reaffirmed that they'll take each other to F3 and F2, and Nicole added "even though people will give me shit for it for the rest of my life." Memphis told Christmas he enjoyed their conversation last night, saying "it's nice to be able to say anything, it's special." She agreed, adding "I didn't feel timid about it." Huh.

The afternoon was a lazy one, and the only point of interest was trying to figure out what's going on with Memphis and Christmas. He told her he had "two very interesting dreams" last night, and when she asked if they were about laundry he laughed and said yeah. Laundry's been a code word for them, for something. He stared at her body tattoos and asked about them, and when he said he was going to get some fruit and would she like some, she asked "are you gonna peel it for me?" He did. Then he and Cody tossed grapes at her and one of Memphis's hit something on Dr Will's ledge that fell off. They found a cricket in the backyard and played with it for awhile, then feeds went to adoptable anipals around 5.30pm and pretty much stayed there. Feeds popped back on for a bit as they ate dinner together, and once when Nicole was giving shoutouts, and again when she ran the roster of the cast and said something positive about each. And that was it for the day.

6th juror, 11th evicted, Day 65

He again made multiple F2s, and landed in various versions of the intertwined big power alliances. He and Bayleigh worked out their issues and fell apart again a few times, and he tangled with Dani, a bad combo for him on top of David's early tell-all faux pas. He showed some entitlement about winning the season, but he told Bayleigh and Da'Vonne that he'd ask Christmas to veto-replace him for one of them so he could go home pre-jury, citing BLM as 'something greater' they were playing for, but his talk with Christmas was shamefully withheld from feeds so we'll never know how it truly unfolded. He bashed us feedsters, and he played hard if desperate at times, but his comp streak wasn't there and he wasn't in on the pre-season ground floor to get to the end.

Won: $5,000; Slop pass, home gym; Basement Replay power/used on Memphis
HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0/0 - HN 1

5th juror, 10th evicted, Day 58

She said she wanted to take Janelle's BB Queen crown, but instead she probably damaged her BB reputation. Not only did she not win comps like she used to, but she failed to bring the entertainment factor. To be fair, she didn't whine and complain as much as her prior seasons, but she came close. She either didn't pre-game well or she changed her mind once she saw who all was in there, and when she talked too much too soon about turning on her allies, it was her undoing. She had to nominate four people in her disastrous HOH week, and inexplicably decided not to push for Tyler to go once she had him on the block, even though her original plan for the week was to boot him out the backdoor.

Won: $10,000; Basement Disruptor/gave himself immunity Week 6
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 4/0/0 - HN 2

4th juror, 9th evicted, Day 58

He got a lot of flak for not being an 'all-star' but many of them technically weren't, and he deserved another shot more than most first boots. He went farther than many expected, but that was mostly due to power group shufflings rather than his own doing, other than the save he earned himself with the Disruptor power. But he blew that by fake crying and bad lying, and he caused a number of rants when he took $10k rather than veto in OTEV. He was an erratic player, often seeming brilliant and clueless in the same moment, but he eventually worked himself into a decent social position against many odds, not the least being Nicole's vote lie. But Memphis finally got his way and got him gone.

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 1 - Noms 5/0/0 - HN 2

3rd juror, 8th evicted, Day 58

He went on the block at the start and never recovered. He wouldn't forgive his former idol Janelle from preferring Keesha stay that first week so he tattled on her, which helped to destroy all hope of the outliers banding together to take on the dominant power alliances. Then he became the pawn star and was nominated four more times, winning only one veto himself and once benefiting from Da'Vonne's win. He spent way too much time trying to analyze who was with whom, sometimes accurately but often way off, and he didn't do anything about it anyway. He was perky and snarky in Diary, but on feeds he was mostly miserable and mopey, rarely coming out of his Eeyore gloom.

Won: $5,000
HOH 0 - Veto 1 - Noms 2/0/0 - HN 2

2nd juror, 7th evicted, Day 51

Winning was one goal she didn't achieve, but she was highly successful with her other goal, to raise awareness of the extra challenges Black hamsters face in this game. Those goals conflicted when David tattled a confidence and again when she believed Nicole's lie blaming her vote on David. She made some messy game choices, but she made eloquent, impassioned block speeches, she had compelling in-depth convos, particularly with Kaysar, and she pointed out the frustrating facts when her point was repeatedly proven. She won a huge but teeny tiny veto, and she once again provided endless reaction memes and gifs. She was the heart and soul, and most of the entertainment, of this season.

Won: Safety Suit #2 (Christmas's win)/1 week space skits
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 2

1st juror, 6th evicted, Day 44

His plan to lay low at first was foiled by the ones who started gaming long before move-in, and his F2 with Nicole was only insurance on her part since she was tighter with the power group. Learning that broke him and it was downhill from there. He showed some entitlement about deserving to win but talked about his struggles learning to lose, which proved him vulnerable and human. He did a superb job with his skits, and talked openly about being on the spectrum, and it was so good to see him again. As before, I wish him well in all he does.

Won: 500 tricycle laps
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 - HN 1

5th evicted, Day 37

She and Tyler had their ups and downs, repairing their relationship from last time and breaking it up again, and that affected the game in various ways. Her friendship with Janelle was fun to watch, and her friendship with Da'Vonne was golden, the type that will likely last long after this season's forgotten. She gave yoga classes, and she rode 500 backyard laps on a tricycle as a veto repercussion, 40 with only one pedal, and BB didn't even put it on the show. Her great attitude riding those laps, mostly to spite her haters, was a joy to behold.

Won: Safety Suite #1
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/0 - HN 1

4th evicted, Day 30

His BB strategy plans have always held promise but implementing them, not so much. But no matter: he was and is a class act, and he always brings the kind of much-needed humanity our feeds are usually lacking in a big way. It's too bad things didn't work out differently this time but it was great to see him on our feeds again, both for himself and for his fun friendship with Janelle.

Won: Safety Suit #1 (Kaysar's win)/1 week star
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 - HN 1

3rd evicted, Day 23

It was great to see her on feeds again, especially her easy friendship with Kaysar. She was BB6 Janelle again but without the in-your-face name-calling that would have made things more fun for us, but props to her for not going there. It's astounding how hard she was targeted just for showing up, proof that Janellousy is still real.

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 - HN 1

2nd evicted, Day 16

Imagine going on BB and not wanting to work with Janelle and Kaysar. Having them to go bat for you, hard, and then throwing it back in their faces. It's mind-boggling. She was in way over her head this season, made one bad decision after another, and she repeatedly promised us a house meeting that she never delivered.

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 - HN 0

1st evicted, Day 9

She was feisty her first time around but like all of them, she's older and more mature now, and her birthday happened before they moved in, so we didn't get any new memorable Keesha scenes. But it was good to see her again and she got a nice check for two weeks isolation and one week of summer camp.
