Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 59 - Friday - September 3, 2021

Alyssa continued wearing her blanketing outfit (big floppy hood and sunglasses) as she made her (pointless) pre-noms pitch to Tiffany. Afterwards she did a Shark Tank show with Xavier, offering 10% of her bikini company. Derek also paid a visit to HOH to plead for his BB life, and Tiffany consoled him about his bad comp record. Last night Tiffany, Claire, Hannah formed the Con Artists to take on the guys, with Tiffany conspiring, Claire congeniality, and Hannah convincing.

Feeds went to adoptable anipals a little after 11am and returned a couple hours later to hamsters pouring out of HOH to discover they had gotten the middle sized table for eight. They were thrilled and squealing, and they all sat down to marvel at it and congratulate each other for making it to this season milestone. They didn't bring in the middle or tiny tables last year, likely due to COVID protocols, but since they got this one today maybe they just let that detail slip by last year since it was touch-and-go if that season would happen at all. However, today's table matched last year's big one, rather than this year's.

Tiffany nominated Alyssa and Xavier, as planned. They both took it well, on the surface anyway, commenting about their pics and how this was the first time they'd appeared on the wall together, and they did a little dance in front of them. Upstairs Tiffany told us she hopes to win veto so she can lock in her noms and send out Alyssa. After the ceremony, Alyssa and Xavier talked and joked with Derek, Azah, Xavier with Derek continuing to say he couldn't win any comps. Earlier, Xavier brought up having thrown the comp several more times, and Hannah told us her ideal final three would be herself plus Azah and Tiffany. She said if the choice to final two was hers, Tiffany would be the loyal choice but she didn't think she could beat her. And she said she hoped viewers knew how much strategy she'd contributed to Cookout, and that she hasn't just been playing a floater game.

More later, if anything interesting or unusual happens. They tentatively planned to play one of their group games later, and maybe BB Shark Tank. The backyard opened, making them further believe Zingbot would be coming tomorrow, which is true: this year it's being hyped as Certified Loverbot.

Update: they didn't play any games. It was a very quiet evening.

Day 58 - Thursday - September 2, 2021

Last night Kyland more or less let SarahB know she'd be leaving today, and they exchanged I love yous (platonic of course). This morning SarahB gave Tiffany a very lengthy pitch, apologizing for her HOH among other bullet points. Tiffany told her she was playing a good game that's dangerous to her own, and acknowledged yes she has Claire, but she also has relationships with others, where SarahB didn't build relationships with anyone but Kyland. And Tiffany told her "I am under the impression that it's not looking good" for SarahB tonight. Xavier, Claire, Hannah talked downstairs and reminisced about pop stars and boy bands.

Tiffany then had a check-in with Kyland, mentioning things like Cookout, "the six," and Alyssa and Xavier, before realizing Alyssa was in the room in bed, possibly asleep or possibly not. Tiffany left, and Kyland went into the reef room, berating himself, cussing, and saying "stupid, stupid, stupid" over and over again. Feeds went to adoptable anipals shortly after for their HOH lockdown upstairs, for the crew to do tech rehearsal downstairs. When they came back, Kyland whispered to Xavier that Alyssa may have overheard him and Tiffany talking about the vote and Cookout. Xavier didn't sound overly concerned but said he'd check in with her. And they said of now, the vote plan would be SarahB going 5-1, with Azah being the one. Tiffany told us she wants to be the one since SarahB's pitch was so convincing, and because it might help her get SarahB's jury vote at the end. She ran that by both Azah and Xavier, who were fine with it (she didn't mention the jury vote part to them).

Julie introduced the show by saying "it was a crazy week in the Big Brother house" which made most feedsters go huh? But then they showed Alyssa's "you're the last white person" comment to Claire and Xavier's reaction to that, and a segment with Hannah's bad hammock dump plus kitchen fire from Monday night. I'd forgotten about those because neither was on feeds, and instead we discovered #Kycomplains during that three-hour outage. And they showed the Cookout's first meeting and hands-in celebration from last Friday.

Then it was an earlier-than-usual jury house segment with Britini shocked to see Derek X, and the two of them trying to put the puzzle pieces together. Derek X did an outdoor Diary segment to explain his theory, that Azah/Kyland/Tiffany/Xavier were working together, and he had pretty much figured out the partner/pawn plan. But he didn't add in Hannah as he figured she would have told him about it, and he didn't figure in Derek F either. Then SarahB was evicted 5-1 as planned, with Tiffany the dissenting vote, also as planned. She whispered to SarahB that it was her as they hugged goodbye. They accidentally grayed out Azah's pic when she left, surprising everyone, especially Azah.

The HOH comp was The Flying BB-inos, with a circus theme. They stood on small discs on ropes and were spun around, with mannequins squirting goop at them, and they were slapped into Bubbles the elephant on each rotation. Julie told them the first three drops would be Have-nots, and she told us Claire was required to throw it, so "this competition is the Cookout versus Alyssa." The elephant blew bubble farts, thus the name. Julie also told us next week would be Zingbot veto, and the next two Thursdays will be double evictions. Julie did not have a parting motto. Also note the remaining schedule above under Upcoming Events: they've now added two Friday shows.

Julie started them at 5.53pm. Drops in order were:
Derek approx 5.56pm, during commercial break
Alyssa 5.58pm, before the credits rolled
Claire 6.12
Hannah 6.13
Xavier 6.15
Azah 6.17
Kyland 6.30
Which left Tiffany the new Head of Household! Both Alyssa and Azah puked when they dismounted.

Tiffany and Kyland both told Xavier separately that they'd wanted to throw it to Azah, but the other didn't drop first for that to happen. Alyssa and Derek both had mini meltdowns. Alyssa said she didn't want to do slop again, she's going to get too skinny again, she didn't want to be fake or do talks anymore, and she was generally over it. Derek was annoyed at losing another comp, and he said in his family they "take losses and get up again" but his confidence was shot, and he wanted to know where the strength and eating comps were. Both began blanketing in their own ways.

Alyssa rebounded some, but Derek and Xavier had a little dual rant about Tiffany and Kyland being selfish, while the other four Cookouts have been solid all along, and they "want them gone." Xavier met with Tiffany and it was pretty much an unspoken tug-of-war about Alysssa and Claire, and Xavier not wanting to go on the block again. Tiffany said it had to be Xavier and Alyssa on the block this week with Alyssa going, since she's a stronger competitor than Claire with a better chance of winning the crucial HOH next week. Xavier said he'd been throwing comps for weeks for the six, and has already been on the block twice, but Tiffany said if she wins veto, she'll take Xavier off and put "him" up - I'm not sure if that referred to Derek, who was the renom plan if needed, or Kyland. Tiffany did say "I will lose Kyland in this game before I let you go home." Immediate followups happened between Xavier and Kyland, and Tiffany and Claire, and Tiffany remet with Xavier to say she was already aiming Claire towards Kyland and away from Xavier. And Tiffany met with Kyland, but I tuned out.

Tiffany got her room around 12.10am. She had more family pics including her son in high school band and her cats, mint green sweats, nails, polish, scrunchies, pecan pie, strawberry shortcake, peanut Oreos, crab meat, sushi, the usual assortment of snacks and treats, White Claw hard seltzers, a letter from "your family, written by Tricia," and her music was Indigo by Chris Brown. Even Derek stayed long enough to hear the inventory of her loot, and details about the pics. When he left he was followed by Xavier and Kyland, and she broke Kyland's hug by calling it "a Sarah Beth hug" and saying they were too long. Back downstairs, Xavier told Kyland and Derek "everything we just did up there should have been his [Derek] or Azah's, I have an issue with people putting themselves above the six when they don't have to." And he griped about going on the block "for the third week in a row" - he's the new Britini.

Won: BB$200; 24 hr Lord of Latrine

HOH 1 - Veto 2 - Noms 0/1 - HN 2
TEAM ACES

2nd juror - 7th evicted - Day 51

He'd only seen two seasons and he didn't do much homework to know he'd signed up for a dirty game, but he was a quick study and saved himself with veto after being the probable first out. Then he won the following veto as well as an HOH, and he was a legitimate 'comp beast' threat. He was maneuvered into backdooring the other comp threat, Christian, on that HOH, and then SarahB was maneuvered into doing the same to him two weeks later. Again, homework might have helped. But he was well liked by most everyone in there and out here, he was a superb Lord of the Latrine and cockroach dancer, and he laughed a lot, something that's often missing on feeds.

Won: BB$100; Week 1 safety

HOH 0 - Veto 1 - Noms 3/1 - HN 1
TEAM JOKERS

1st juror - 6th evicted - Day 44

She went on the block four times, and she ranted, cried, and was a pretty bad sport about it. She only played the game around noms and voting times, so she didn't understand she kept going OTB because she didn't bother to find out what was going on, or to create allies beyond her Jokers team/roomies. The fact she was up against Cookout didn't help her any, but she could have done a lot more than she did, and she blamed her exit on a broken deal that was never struck. She rapped for Julie, and won a hard-fought veto, and broke in on Alyssa/Christian sexytime in HOH. She seemed to be playing a character much of the time, and she contributed a lot to their many skits and songs.

Won: Week 1 Wildcard + safety; Week 3 safety

HOH 1 - Veto 2 - Noms 0/1 - HN 2
TEAM KINGS Captain

5th evicted - Day 37

It was tricky to tell him apart from Travis at first, which wasn't helped by Christian changing his hair once or twice a day, and he often sounded like Victor Arroyo when he spoke. But that passed and soon it was easy to tell Christian was the loud one who was super-glued to Alyssa most of the time. He was sometimes fun and seems like a good guy, but he made no secret of his physical abilities, including doing six backflip/burpie combos in a row one day, just because he could. Those abilities were largely what got him the boot, since he also proved he could put them into action, even when he didn't need to.

Won: Nothing

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 - HN 1
TEAM ACES Captain

4th evicted - Day 30

Apparently she spent a few hours on Twitter and she selected one of my tweets to complain about being villainized, slut shamed, and hated. My tweet was factual, with a touch of snark, but none of that stuff. Maybe she forgot what she signed up for, and I'm sure she's having a tough re-entry, but after having hate for her flung into my mentions every day (as all updaters get, for each of them) to then get called out publicly for what I didn't do, I'll just go with Mariah's 'I don't know her.'

Won: Nothing

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 - HN 1
TEAM ACES

3rd evicted - Day 23

At cast reveal I thought international flight attendant would mean great people skills, but no. He came in boasting of charm but it didn't last long. His talk about girls and dating, and his behavior towards several women in there, were problematic and bound to get worse if he'd stayed. He was happy to be Frenchie's lieutenant for the chaotic first week but then Brent turned on him and practically denied ever being with him. He had zero self-awareness about all this and the edits skewered him as they did Frenchie, proving once again if you do clownery, you'll get the clown music.

Won: Nothing

HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 - HN 0
TEAM JOKERS Captain

2nd evicted - Day 16

Cast reveal brought controversy plus a major Cody/Derrick mixup, and the feeds opened to him announcing he wouldn't put up a woman or minority, but then he put up Alyssa and Kyland, and it was downhill from there. He did everything a feedster should know not to do: shouting in Diary, talking in cliches, Bomb Squadding, pandering, power-tripping, mistaking BB history items, grandstanding, begging for a viewer save, and threatening to quit. Still, all that gave us a wild ride and super-chaotic first week of feeds that we'd never be able to piece together if we hadn't seen it unfold.

Won: Nothing

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1 - HN 0
TEAM QUEENS

1st evicted - Day 9

I barely know who he was. He dressed in drag (and looked okay doing so), he gave Kyland a birthday lap dance, took his shirt off for his nominee speech, and complained to Julie that white guys with abs are targets. And he didn't do much to prevent his eviction. That's all I got. Aloha.

Won: Early ticket home

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0 - HN 0

Replaced pre-season

Replaced by Claire pre-season, she tested positive for COVID.

Won: Early ticket home
