Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 10 - Friday - July 15, 2022

They were told they had to clear out the pantry fridge in order to get it restocked with new food, so they moved a lot of food to the kitchen and tossed out a lot, like they do. Nicole announced she wouldn't be cooking for everyone this week since she's Have-not. Overnight, Alyssa, Ameerah, Michael talked about encouraging the Pooch-as-pawn plan so they could get him out, and Nicole and Daniel discussed the same today. Nicole told Ameerah, Indy they won't backdoor Taylor this week, and Nicole said she'd told Jasmine to use a safeword if people pester her too much. Nicole cited Jasmine's twisted ankle and need for rest as the reason for that, but it could also protect her agenda to break up Turner and Pooch. Jasmine announced she was having a nervous poop day, and Nicole helped her wipe at one point. My apologies, but it happened and they retold it, so we all have to cringe.

They noticed the NOMINATIONS TODAY sign so HOH meetings about that kicked off. Jasmine still wanted to target Taylor but Nicole, Michael, Daniel got in there first and encouraged the plan to let Pooch pawn himself, and it seemed like Jasmine had started to reconsider in order to not make house-waves. Brittany cycled through her glorious facial expressions and said she thought maybe people had been starting to target her, and she flat denied having told Pooch that Ameerah was coming for him when Jasmine asked. Indy told Jasmine and Alyssa she prefer Pooch go, saying "I can't stand him," and the three of them agreed Turner and Pooch were too close, and Kyle was also a potential problem. Kyle told Jasmine he didn't really understand Pooch's pitch and wondered why he'd volunteer to go on the block. Monte subtly pushed for Taylor, saying Jasmine would have bloody hands if Pooch goes but not if Taylor does. (Actually there's no blood when someone volunteers for the block, it's a bloodless procedure.)

Jasmine told several of them she wanted Alyssa to go to HOH on some ploy eight minutes after her meeting with Taylor started, which it did at 2.29pm. She told Taylor she'd be putting her up as a pawn to get out a bigger target, but she didn't say who. Taylor said she'd gun to win veto for Jasmine. Alyssa ding-donged at 2.33pm, followed closely by Indy, Nicole, Ameerah, conversation topics revved up, and Taylor left. Jasmine followed up quickly with Daniel and Nicole, and with Michael, and with Kyle, all agreeing the plan to boot Pooch was a go. Each of them said they'd pull off Taylor if they play and win veto, and she told Michael she'll pick him if she draws a HG Choice chip. As of now, if Pooch wins, she'll put up someone else and Taylor will go, but if anyone else wins, Pooch is toast. He had the last meeting before noms, and she assured him otherwise, that Taylor is done.

Jasmine nominated Taylor and Pooch, as planned. Jasmine said it was hard, and Taylor said the wait for the pics to pop up was long and stressful. She also said she was glad it wasn't a backdoor nomination for her, possibly/probably unaware that's what Jasmine originally wanted to do. The scramble kicked off with psst-psst meetings here and there, most of them agreeing they'd stick to the plan to screw the Pooch, with Pooch pleased his plan (to boot Taylor) was off and running. Jasmine got a scooter, triggering a lot of feedsters, but it's a good thing I think - her crutches weren't adjusted to her height, and she clearly didn't know how to use them properly. That in itself was kind of peculiar, considering they have a football coach, two personal trainers, and at least one (Kyle) who'd had to use them in the past.

Evening was low key since most of them were up til morning, then woken up a few hours later. A few even snuck in naps. Several of them took spins on Jasmine's scooter, ding-dinging the bell. I don't recall others taking joyrides on Christmas's, but she was more intimidating than Jasmine. Meetings carried on of course, with the plan to boot Pooch gaining momentum. Indy made dinner and cut her finger, then she cut it again or a different one later one of Jasmine's food packages. Terrance volunteered to go up as renom pawn if Taylor's saved by veto, so we could potentially end up with two volunteers giving speeches next Thursday(!)

Jasmine met with Taylor and slipped when she asked "if somebody wins the veto, should I get them to take you down?" but she quickly added "so you could be an extra vote, and I put up somebody who wouldn't vote for Pooch." She also slipped to Kyle when she said all the girls were on board to boot Pooch, but quickly added that they aren't all working together, they just agreed on that.

Indy griped about Turner ("I don't trust him at all, he doesn't do shit and he bothers me") and Pooch ("he really likes me but I don't give a shit about him, he's so annoying"). Several of the griped that Taylor was following them around (no). #JasmineStories included being switched at birth, and getting dragged in the grass by her dad when she was homecoming queen the same night they became homeless, "but it was an awesome night." Most of them had a loud gathering in HOH for awhile before heading off to their various beds. Terrance told Daniel and Nicole that Taylor was at least partly responsible for Paloma's mental health decline. Nicole said she hadn't looked at it like that and didn't think Taylor did anything maliciously. Daniel said he didn't think it was Taylor's fault and he "would never say that," but the three of them continued to insinuate, and Daniel went back to his "I still want her fuckin gone" and "she's chasing me around the house" loops.

Day 9 - Thursday - July 14, 2022

Feeds remained on adoptable anipals through the night and into Thursday, and they'll stay on anipals until after tonight's show although as of noon, the show's Twitter hasn't bothered to say anything. As I posted last night, Paloma left the house and the game, whether voluntarily or not isn't yet known (and may never be). If a medical elimination, there are privacy laws that could factor in, not to mention basic ethics that should. But rumors and assumptions are running more rampant than ever before out here, and that's saying something! Julie posted her usual eviction day pic on her balcony six or seven hours earlier than usual, so tonight's show might even be taping early? Actually she posted a TikTok-ish shimmy to Beyoncé. We'll see if she's wearing the same outfit tonight, and if they have the LIVE graphic. (Update: she had a different outfit on the show, and the LIVE graphic finally popped up late in the show.) There's no way to know yet how they'll handle the Backstage twist or eviction, or Paloma's exit, but Julie also did some press/promo that seemed to include some preliminary damage control.

The announcer and Julie both teased a "shocking announcement" and they showed some of Paloma's spiraling into weirdness, and they cited sleep deprivation and that it's hard being in there. Daniel read a card to them [last night] announcing "due to a personal matter Paloma will no longer be continuing in the BB game" (as I posted/spoiled last night.) Several of them cried, the tinkly piano tinked, and Monte led a prayer. Several of them used the term "mental health" but the show didn't elaborate further - properly so: again, privacy issues.

Julie announced to us that Brittany had won the Backstage viewer vote, and she told them and us that originally there would have been a battle between one nominee chosen by the house and one of the Backstagers, and the loser would have been evicted immediately. But due to Paloma's absence, the Backstage twist was over and there would be no eviction.

They started the HOH comp which was Bye Bye Backstage, with seven head-to-head races across an obstacle course. The seven winners would advance to a new festival to compete for HOH. Names were drawn by Daniel and pairings/outcomes were as follows: Michael beat Pooch, Taylor beat Alyssa, Joseph beat Indy, Ameerah beat Brittany, Jasmine beat Terrance, Kyle beat Turner, and Monte beat Nicole. Jasmine crashed at the end of her run and seemed to have twisted an ankle. The second phase and HOH winner will be on Sunday's show, but we'll know from feeds long before then who won. Julie said there will be a "huge announcement" next Thursday, and "the game is about to change."

Feeds were down til midnight, making this outage almost 27 hours total. Jasmine won the second part of the HOH comp and the competitors were all splattered with paint. It looked like a farm theme, and I heard someone say "no skill was involved." Jasmine was sitting down with everyone gathered around her, and she had crutches. (Will a scooter be next?) She said she'll be targeting Taylor, so same story as last week. Meanwhile Taylor told Daniel she was sure she'd have survived a vote if they'd had one (nope), and that she didn't think Jasmine will nominate her. Pooch started up his fast-talking scurry/frenzy rounds, including volunteering to be a pawn against Taylor (or against Brittany, with Taylor going up as renom/backdoor). Daniel told Nicole about the guys' Oasis alliance, and Nicole was asked to take Paloma's place in Mamba.

Jasmine came out of Diary with a card about Have-nots, started to read it, asked for a redo, and started again. Last week's Have-nots were to pick this week's: Monte picked Pooch, Joseph picked Nicole, Michael picked Terrance, Kyle picked Daniel - actually I think all of them volunteered. Last week's HN crew joined the new ones in their crappy room to tell them ins and outs of the floaties and chairs.
