>> James is Head of Household - Sheila and Ryan are nominated <<

I had a strange dream..

Oops, that wasn't a dream: they really did make a big deal to Revive-a-Hamster and then threw it out.. the losers haven't surfaced yet though

The day started with surreal artsy shots on the feeds, and Sheila hard at work.. she made her rounds, talking one hamster ear off after another telling the All About Sheila story while planting thousands of seeds to ensure her safety.. I think she lulls them into a trancelike state and then injects subliminal post-hypnotic suggestions, or something.. she's added a new word to her repetitive vocabulary now, saying she's "piggybacking" her way thru the game

When it was Ryan's turn to be her victim, Joshuah listened from the hallway, glowering the whole time.. but hey, at least she's "wearing" the catsuit most of the time lately

Ryan: Mm-hmm.. mm-hmm.. uh-huh.. mm-hmm

Sheila again/still

Sheila & Ryan were nominated as planned, with Sheila the target.. she had a very long Diary session that was probably at least a little different and more spontaneous than Chelsia's leaked Q&A from last night

They had family dinner without her and talked about her having shared her epiphany with so many of them: that she probably can't win the game without winning comps, and hinting or asking that others win them for her.. Joshuah didn't feel well and was uncharacteristically quiet.. Matt's been feeling depressed all day and had said he could use a good cry

Sharon spotted someone working on a roof and called out Natalie and Chelsia to see.. previous hamsters would shout and wave, but these ones pointed quietly, and went back inside.. they finally got some booze for a change, but not a lot

They got some new puzzle pieces in the guineas box and Natalie led the way deciphering them.. she lectured Sheila that she'd better study hard as they obviously have something to do with the veto comp, then Natalie went outside and joined a Trash Sheila session along with Adam, Chelsia, James & Joshuah, while Sheila cleaned, then went to bed and cried, and said she wanted to go home

Diary called her again (likely to take advantage of her stuffy nose and puffy eyes).. she said good night as she passed back through the partiers.. as soon as she was back in bed, Diary called her again

Shenanigans

Chelsia had problems keeping her clothes on again

Sheila finally got back to sleep but the rest of them had further plans for her.. they decided they'd go in screaming at her to get up, that it was a midnight veto comp.. oddly, several of them thought they could get Diary to help by sounding the siren - they really must be as dumb as they seem

It was one hell of a wake-up - see the video - Sheila was a good sport about it, more or less.. she went to Diary again and they set her free from the catsuit, which helped.. sadly, she thought they did it because they like her.. Adam's still in there, digging

Ratings are based on entertainment value

Speaking of disgusted, why bother going through that voting song & dance just to throw it out the window? I'm reminded of the 'Dallas' episode where Bobby Ewing 'dreamed' the previous season or two to make things convenient for the writers. They're just lucky they didn't charge for cell phone votes this time - the whole thing was probably just meant to generate traffic to the CBS website. Otherwise, they left out flying pickle juice and flying water from fight day, Julie wore her worst ensemble yet, and the phrase 'crap my pants' was introduced to her boudoir. The best part of the show was when they crossed their audio lines: when Allison was asked her thoughts about Ryan winning HOH, we heard Matt talking about the bathroom. That about sums things up for Wednesday's show: just another hoax in another season of hoaxes and failed 'twists'. They didn't deliver the promised revival but we now have three revived hamsters in there: one third of the current habitat has already been evicted.

Won: Motorcycle
Paired with Sheila

He told a great story about having several bicycles he keeps locked up in various parts of New York so he never has to walk far or pay for a cab when he gets wasted. He locks them up outside Chinese restaurants since they always have several bikes outside for the delivery guys. Also, he & James told Matt all about how to get food stamps and other assistance, and of course he stuck his hands down his pants and up his nose a lot.

Paired with James

A typical day for her: she laid around a lot, trashed various hamsters, and lost her bikini bottoms a few times.

HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
Paired with Chelsia

He surprised many by keeping his word to Natalie, and apparently he made quite a speech about lying when nom'ing Sheila that really got her going. His mom's letter has him & the rest of them going since she said he has fan clubs all over America: they all seem to think they're just short of superstar status now. James also said his mom never got food stamps even when she needed them, but it was the first thing he did when he came to LA. To their credit, he & Natalie complained the least about being sore after last night's comp.

Paired with Neil  Sharon

I was expecting him to be foaming at the mouth for fear of being backdoor'd but he kept a really low profile today. He says he doesn't feel well and he sounds like he probably is getting a bug of some kind. I get tired of his bitter queen act after awhile but he's a lot less entertaining when he's just being glum.

Paired with Natalie

He's not been up to par today either, saying he's getting a little more depressed every day. If he ends up having the good cry he talked about, I'm wondering what the other guys will say or do. I'm still enjoying their Bible classes: he said he was going to skip Leviticus as Adam told him there's nothing good in it.

Paired with Matt

The rest of them seem to be dropping like flies energy-wise, but she keeps being bright and perky no matter what. Neither she nor James are complaining after last night but the others are whining up a storm about aches & pains. She was the first to theorize about the new puzzle pieces of course, and gave Sheila a much-needed lecture about studying them.. Sheila cleaned and went to bed instead. Natalie in a nutshell: when Diary called her, she went up to the door and said to it 'Hi, I'm here! Open.' She was a little too into the Sheila prank (in kind of a mean way), but ups nonetheless since she's the only one not laying around all day.

NOMINATED
Won: $10,000
Jen's boyfriend Paired with Allison

He's handling his nomination well, but I guess he's used to his co-nominee taking the limelight whenever he's on the block. He's the one who should be studying but he only seemed to take a quick look at the new pieces. He talked today about his felony conviction - something to do with fire extinguishers, I think.

Paired with Jacob (her ex)  Joshuah

She's back on her blue crack full-time again, but we learned something interesting today: she and Jacob did have an exit interview with Julie! I wonder what they did with it, and how dull it had to have been that they didn't even air it.

NOMINATED
Paired with Adam

I'm a bit torn here.. it was irritating seeing her make her rounds with the same everlasting routine, and inevitable they'd all compare notes about it, but it was kinda sad seeing her cry as they were all trashing her on the other feed. Diary was ruthless in calling her repeatedly, but not as ruthless as the others were in planning and pulling off a surprise midnight veto comp hoax to wake her up again, and get her in a panic. Still, all things considered, she cried that she wanted to go home so she should get her wish.

Paired with Ryan

She called it manipulation - I call it emotional blackmail with a lot of 'poor me' thrown in. One of the most delusional hamsters ever (and that's saying something), she's the poster girl for Can Dish It Out But Can't Take It. She did give us some confrontation doozies and fireworks deluxe but trust her, like one million percent, she does not care.

Revive-a-Hamster winner & loser
Paired with Amanda

He started out looking like he was on board with Matt's showmance plan and CBS picked up that angle, but then we got to know a bright, charismatic, and goofy guy who had everything going for him in there except his partner. His diplomacy was remarkable and he might have gone the distance, but he went out as another casualty of 'Til Death Do You Part'.

Paired with Alex

She began with hysterics & drama and was at the center of the biggest BB fight ever, but she went out with more of a whimper than a bang. Her moods dropped as fast as her blood sugar but to her credit, she rebounded just as fast. She & Allison had dual 911 events, but Amanda's collapse brought unexpected (and uniformed) guests into the habitat and onto the air.

Won: $5,000
Ryan's girlfriend/Paired with Parker

She & Ryan could have gone far if she hadn't opened her mouth in the first days. She made loads of enemies in a short time and took Parker down with her. She'll be remembered for super-quickie sex in the bathroom and a rash on her backside.. hmm, coincidence?

Won: $5,000
Paired with Jen

He was good watching at first til he gave up and went on strike. He bounced back a bit at the end but his doom came early when partner Jen couldn't keep her trap shut about her & Ryan. She had to go, and he was just the innocent bystander casualty. 'I'm sick of people's dumbass assinine ass comments' might be Line of the Season.

Paired with Joshuah

He left suddenly and mysteriously but wrote on his MySpace that he didn't leave for health reasons and that he won't be back. He seems like a good guy and I wish him well.. he's probably lucky he got out when he did, unscathed.

Paired with Sharon (his ex)

Gone before the feeds kicked in: he didn't even make an appearance. All that potential for rehashing their breakup and/or a jealous rage up in smoke. To make it worse, he & Sharon didn't even get an exit interview in Julie's boudoir - how rude!

This site isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It also isn't necessarily about who should win, who will win, who I'd be friends with or who is cute. It's about watching hamsters: which ones are doing what and why, which are fun and which are dull. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior.
