>> Ryan is Head of Household - Sharon & Sheila are nominated - Ryan won veto <<

Kids at play

Adam & Sheila kept their cuffs on most of the time through the night and day, other than taking them off repeated times to change clothes.. Adam also took them off a couple more times to get rules-follower Sheila upset - at one point she even ran off to Diary about it

Otherwise they more or less did what they were supposed to until the trivia came along for the veto comp, so this 24 hour task was accomplished in 21-22 hours, give or take: not bad for a BB task

Sheila was miserable sleeping with Adam overnight, waking him up to chat, rant, and wheedle several times.. they made the most of it during the day, especially Adam, as he had a round of tugging Sheila around the habitat.. they both turned into 5-year-old kids at that point, she planting herself solidly on the stairs saying she was NOT moving, as he continued to tug

She did the requisite phony kick to the junk at one point, but he kept at it.. it must have tired them out as well as Ryan & Sharon, as they all slept through most of the day

Ryan wins again

A third win in so many days is pretty impressive

Sharon ran upstairs afterwards for another quick whisper about Adam & Sheila being in cahoots.. Ryan discovered his zipper was down and wondered if it had been like that during the comp: that's something to watch for when it airs on Tuesday

None of them seem too confident in their individual deals with Ryan

Sheila discovered the ants were back, in the bread now and everywhere.. Sharon actually helped her move some stuff to the pantry/conference room before going back to her blue crack and horribly dull stories.. an hour or so later Sheila was surprised that "the ants aren't going away"

The comp involved matching up hamsters with BB9 events: comps, noms, vetos, etc - the kind of stuff none of them have studied much this time, at least out loud.. and they were in hay

No smackdown

Things were looking promising for a minute when they couldn't light the grill, but no such luck

Notice the pool duckie in the window/mirror: is it possible it's behind the BBQ's ferocious spirit? It's always around when the grill runs amok.. if so, it had a disappointing evening too

Sheila's stress cleaning expanded to the backyard and she took some 409 to the grill - while it was grilling.. if it added a special flavor to the chicken, nobody noticed.. especially Sharon, who dug in with gusto, as usual

It never bothers this girl that each of the other three prepare, cook and contribute something to their dinners while she sits around waiting for it, nope.. she did volunteer to wash the dishes at least, but then put them all in "to soak" - even though they didn't make anything that sounded like it particularly needed soaking.. she didn't get back to actually washing them for a couple hours, maybe hoping Sheila would freak out and do them as usual, but Sheila held firm this time

Sheila did work her passive aggressive magic on Sharon for awhile in the hot tub, delivering her usual lectures sprinkled with little poison digs.. they ended up having a "Poor Me" contest, each of them trying to outdo the other as far as "deserving" the prize money.. it was sickening

Ryan put on his tough guy persona to talk to Adam, telling him he didn't 100% trust that he had Adam's loyalty after all the stuff he's heard from Sharon.. Adam played it up, like he does, and promised he'd boot Sheila, and then they'd steamroll Sharon in the final HOH comp to be the last two standing.. then they were best buds again, and giddy about "kicking out all the bitches"

They all think the veto meeting is on Sunday and eviction will be Wednesday, as usual.. they don't know yet they're about to be sped up

Daily ratings - Evict them all edition

Ratings would be based on entertainment value, if there was any

Wednesday's show had a logical, linear storyline for a change - for those just watching CBS anyway. For the rest of us, it was highly over-simplified and way too easy if you ask me. Natalie wasn't the only one double-dealing in there but she came across looking like scum, while Sheila was portrayed as a little bitter & vindictive but as if she had every right to be. Once again, none of Sheila's vicious, vile trashtalk hit the airwaves for some peculiar reason.. well, we know what the reason is but we can't fight it. If there had been any doubt as to the voting, Julie's questions gave more anti-Natalie ammo to seal her fate, and it was just too sad to see the one hamster who was almost always cheerful in there have to go out in tears because of the cowards who remained inside, but that's how it goes. I'm all for the trick BEEBIES question, as it smacked of what Big Brother should be about all the time: messing with their pointy little heads. I can't say it enough: I'd rather have three months of that stuff than three months of relatively nice, normal people turn into flesh-eating monsters. By the way, dear producers, don't think I missed you calling the BEEBIES cage a 'habitat' nor Julie saying everyone was 'neutral'.. I'm on to you guys.

Won: Motorcycle
Paired with Sheila

He's trying, but it's hard for any one hamster to kickstart three lumps so we can get some entertainment. He's as enthusiastic over food plans as he is about promising loyalty to both Ryan & Sheila. If there's any justice, any payoff at all for those of us who have stuck it out this long, he'll stick with the latest plan of booting Sheila, hopefully without warning, and then he & Ryan will get rid of Sharon in the three-parter HOH comp. Then we could at least have a few days of fun feeds without the twin horrors of Sharon & Sheila.

Won: $10,000, movie premiere,
Beverly Hills shopping spree
Jen's boyfriend / Paired with Allison

HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD - HOLDS VETO
Ups for another win but that's about it. I'm not sure if he's aware that he's got to break one of his many deals, but that's how it goes when you promise the world to anyone within whispering distance. His tough guy act was kinda funny, especially since he's seen Adam promise one thing and do something else with his own eyes, but no matter. He made up for it an hour or so after they all went to bed by going back downstairs to get Adam to play with him some more, saying 'I miss the bedroom talk.' They had a good time playing with food for awhile, upsetting both Sheila and Sharon.. WTG guys!

Won: Movie premiere, Beverly Hills shopping spree
Won & wasted: One slop pass
Paired with Jacob (her ex)  Joshuah

I have a feeling The Powers That Be want her to win since they're due for a female and she's got her wholesome, all-American bio, her Bible, and her daddy with the war hero outfit. But if so, The Powers That Be haven't seen her on the feeds. Her voice and laugh make nails on a blackboard sound good, she can't tell a story to save her life, and her idea of being interesting is talking about going to McDonald's after church or an uncle who had a pool. I mean, c'mon - she's got a pet slug! Despite her supposedly picture perfect family, she was obviously never taught to feed herself, let alone anyone else, and she can't hide anymore with so few of them in there. Even if she can't cook, at her age one would imagine she's capable of offering up a simple 'Can I do something?' but it never happens. She just waits to be called to the table night after night so she can stuff her face with everyone else's cooking - and she doesn't even thank them for it. Fortunately for us, the guys have started to bait her into starting one of her boring Jacob stories, and then they change the subject.

Paired with Adam

Double downs are tempered by her (for once) well-placed barbs and little digs at Sharon, hinting that she's a spoiled princess. I'm honestly surprised that Sheila hasn't gone off on Sharon for being the lazy slug she is, but it could come. Meanwhile, the ants are making Sheila crazy crazier and that's why the ants are always good to root for, especially when the grill isn't having a show day. Never one to be discreet, today Sheila talked about her ex/kidsitter/housesitter's drug problems among other tidbits that are none of our business, and she earned yet another Line of the Day award with 'I never liked drugs.. I've just always been someone who likes to drink.' She's not capable of connecting the day's wakeup music ('She Drives Me Crazy') as being a personal dedication for her, but I hope when she's evicted this week that it's a surprise, and that the writers give Julie the perfect line to ensure Sheila knows that she's getting exactly what she dished up to Natalie, no excuses allowed.

Paired with Matt

Party girl deluxe who did things no hamster ever has or probably ever will again. She stripped, suds'd, slurped and grinded her way into many feedsters' hearts (and a few other places), all the while being cheery, fun, and unbelievably candid. Later she toned it down and talked & preached too much, but she's easily the Star of the Season and Most Photogenic. She'll also be remembered for kooky kneesocks, nail polish paintings, and homemade dairy products.

Revived a minute after his first eviction
Paired with Chelsia

Offline scandals kept popping up but CBS kept hyping him - damage control maybe. He pushed Chelsia til she did what she promised Daddy she wouldn't, but most of that was blocked. He cried when nobody liked him, he slept a lot, got nekkid a lot, masturbated a lot, and topped Cowboy's hat trick with his tuck. Like another James before him, he played all sides too soon and too eagerly, and it came back to bite him. Click for his adult material.

Paired with Neil  Sharon

He put on costumes and breakfast shows, and did hot tub monologues, praying & sobbing aloud. He exploded viciously on Amanda & Allison, and about Sheila & Natalie (usually focused on genitalia), but he left the guys alone except James, who he c-blocked & puppy-dogged. He had lots of schemes to save himself but used them up early, and his huge drama potential fell short when we needed it most. He had the only Diary restraining order I know of: 5 feet away from Allison.

Won: $21,000 Vegas trip
Paired with James

Sometimes a spitfire who gave us good fights & fireworks but she laid around with James way too much, which was her undoing and ours. She'll be remembered for feedmasters' attempts to protect her, strip/lap dance/makeout night, having sex, raunchy stories, a colorful vocabulary, getting smashed, smashing everyone's Easter eggs, and for going out with the nasty speeches they all threaten but rarely follow through with.

Paired with Natalie

America's Playa came on strong, prepared to showmance his way through all the girls and into the money. That didn't work out but he was fun to have around and he usually kept things light amid the chaos. He brought BJs to the feeds and made Bibles fun in there. Despite the fact that he's a pig, he has some good qualities too and he kinda grows on you.

Paired with Ryan

She called it manipulation - I call it emotional blackmail with a lot of 'poor me' thrown in. One of the most delusional hamsters ever (and that's saying something), she's the poster girl for Can Dish It Out But Can't Take It. She did give us some confrontation doozies and fireworks deluxe but trust her, like one million percent, she does not care.

Revive-a-Hamster winner & loser
Paired with Amanda

He started out looking like he was on board with Matt's showmance plan and CBS picked up that angle, but then we got to know a bright, charismatic, and goofy guy who had everything going for him in there except his partner. His diplomacy was remarkable and he might have gone the distance, but he went out as another casualty of 'Til Death Do You Part'.

Paired with Alex

She began with hysterics & drama and was at the center of the biggest BB fight ever, but she went out with more of a whimper than a bang. Her moods dropped as fast as her blood sugar but to her credit, she rebounded just as fast. She & Allison had dual 911 events, but Amanda's collapse brought unexpected (and uniformed) guests into the habitat and onto the air.

Won: $5,000
Ryan's girlfriend / Paired with Parker

She & Ryan could have gone far if she hadn't opened her mouth in the first days. She made loads of enemies in a short time and took Parker down with her. She'll be remembered for super-quickie sex in the bathroom and a rash on her backside.. hmm, coincidence?

Won: $5,000
Paired with Jen

He was good watching at first til he gave up and went on strike. He bounced back a bit at the end but his doom came early when partner Jen couldn't keep her trap shut about her & Ryan. She had to go, and he was just the innocent bystander casualty. 'I'm sick of people's dumbass assinine ass comments' might be Line of the Season.

Paired with Joshuah

He left suddenly and mysteriously but wrote on his MySpace that he didn't leave for health reasons, and that he won't be back. He seems like a good guy and I wish him well.. he's probably lucky he got out when he did, unscathed.

Paired with Sharon (his ex)

Gone before the feeds kicked in: he didn't even make an appearance. All that potential for rehashing their breakup and/or a jealous rage up in smoke. To make it worse, he & Sharon didn't even get an exit interview in Julie's boudoir - how rude!

REMAINING SHOWS
My best guess:

Sunday, April 20 at 8pm: movie comp, nominations, assorted dramas & filler

Tuesday, April 22 at 9pm: final veto comp, eviction, and the start of the Final 3 HOH comp - probably endurance

Wednesday, April 23 at 8pm: HOH comp Part 2 (live? taped earlier in the day?), and Part 3 Q&A live, with final eviction

Sunday, April 27 at 8pm: Finale will include jury questioning, evictees & jury check-ins, and voting for & announcing the winner

RATINGS WATCH
Wednesday's eviction show remained in fourth place with a 4.1 rating and 7 share, behind Democrat political debates on ABC with 7.3/12, 'Deal or No Deal' on NBC with 6.0/10, and 'Til Death' (3.9/7) and 'Back to You' (4.5/7) on Fox.
Rating = % of all TV households
Share = % of households watching TV

FAQ
There are just four shows left

As HOH of the Final 4, Ryan can also participate in the following HOH comp.

That Final 3 HOH comp is in three parts. The first is an intense endurance. The two who don't win that compete in Part 2. The winners of Part 1 and Part 2 then compete in Part 3 for the HOH title. Whoever wins it just evicts someone (no noms or votes), therefore choosing who they'll go up against for the jury vote to decide the winner.

First place earns $500k, second gets $50k. The others earn $750 a week, including jury sequester weeks for those that go there

BB10 premieres Sunday, July 13

This site isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It also isn't necessarily about who should win, who will win, who I'd be friends with or who is cute. It's about watching hamsters: which ones are doing what and why, which are fun and which are dull. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior.
