She made Claire and Hannah swear to not repeat that Xavier thought SarahB was on track to AFP and only wanted to make jury to ensure that. (This is not about AFP, it's about painting a target on SarahB.) And Claire told DerekX that SarahB was "really really really REALLY pushing Hannah" to go. DerekX sounded about four years old when he replied "that hard?" Fallout picked up first thing this morning with Azah telling Derek F that SarahB would put up one of them plus Hannah if she wins HOH. (And she said Hannah would go over another Cookout member as she was the last add, and "I can't keep my mouth shut sometimes, but she really can't." Tiffany told cameras/us she feels SarahB is a threat because she seems to be holding back a lot of herself, and she's targeting Hannah for no real reason, therefore she could target Tiffany and/or her other allies.Whitney griped to Britini that her teamies Derek X and Hannah haven't talked game to her since Brent left but she sees them whispering and huddling with everyone else, and she said Derek X said something to Hannah about next week, in front of her (Whitney). She said "now I'm the Brent" (accurate), and said she planned to ask Christian to replace her with Derek X. Derek F chimed in from the pool, saying Derek X started the Week 1 rumor that put Alyssa on the block, and Whitney clasped her hands and said she has a case! Derek F continued to wind her up, and Whitney said Derek X might be her teammate "but after today, fuck that." She also said she's glad Christian is HOH and veto holder so she only has to pitch to one person, and she wants to revive the Nightclub plan, as well as having Spa Day or Night tomorrow. Kicking that social game into average gear. Most of them enjoyed having the yard and the sun and the pool, and several worked out including both Dereks and Britini. Derek X died afterwards. Tiffany counseled Hannah a couple times to play dumber. Apparently she was quizzing Christian on days and answering if he was right or wrong immediately, and then he reported to Alyssa that Hannah knows all the days events cold. Later Tiffany went back for another round, coaching Hannah to keep things to herself more, "you got two ears and one mouth, listen more and talk less." And Tiffany reminded Hannah that she should be buddying up to SarahB to form some kind of bond there, to keep SarahB placated and comfortable. Kyland had another marathon gametalk to the pantry cameras, and was joined by SarahB who continued to push for Hannah to go. I didn't listen closely but she said at the end she'll let it drop. Tiffany walked in on them hugging and walked right out again. Whitney told Derek F "if I don't get taken off the block tomorrow, my seduction is gonna go *whoosh* like who cares? I'm just gonna sit on [Xavier]'s lap.. aggressive, where I should probably need a restraining order almost." So there's that. Renewed plans for Nightclub carried on, with makeup class scheduled for 6.30pm, which came and went with no makeup class. Britini, Hannah, SarahB worked on a song and dance routine for the Big Blue Couch theme, even though auditions were last night, and Britini and SarahB didn't make the cut. Azah gave a pageant class for eager students Claire, Derek X, Xavier. Hannah and Alyssa had a lengthy convo, making me wonder if Hannah misheard Tiffany's assignment to buddy up to SarahB or if she decided not to participate. Tiffany talked to Derek X again about SarahB either getting AFP or currently playing as America's Player for cash, I'm not sure which, but either way she was again pushing for SarahB to be sent home before jury. Tiffany then told us she likes and respects SarahB as a person but needed to make sure she goes home as she could be very dangerous to Tiffany's game. Christian did his viewer QAs and told Alyssa he was surprised there weren't any about their showmance. Alyssa told him she didn't want to do makeup class, and Azah said she didn't either, but both said they'd go along with it. The selfie camera came out and several of them reran their Big Blue Couch theme auditions. Preparations for makeup class began a little after 7pm and most of the ladies gathered at the big table for Whitney to conduct her class. To be fair, it was kind of them to let her do it, since all they let Brent do was sing the Big Blue Couch theme. Alyssa didn't participate at first but looked in from time to time, and finally joined. Whitney seemed professional and completely in her element, but it felt to me like they'd all be expected to place product orders at the end of her presentation. Britini randomly said Ray Bolger, the Wizard of Oz Scarecrow, was her "great, great, great cousin." Elsewhere, Kyland showed Derek F his memory system for days and events, and Xavier and Christian talked about random topics. Makeup class ran til 9pm and most were happy with their results. Various combos of Xavier, Derek F, Kyland met to discuss next week. Xavier and Derek F talked about SarahB and how hard she'd fought to get Hannah on the block and out. Xavier had some concerns about Kyland because of that but Derek F assured him Kyland was definitely with them. The three of them decided Derek F would have to win HOH to take a shot at Christian, but they don't know this week is endurance. Their long-planned nightclub finally happened. They all got dressed up and primped out, and BB sent in their usual Sunday night wine and beer. The ladies headed up to the outdoor balcony as security guy Derek F patted down and introduced each of the guys. They all mingled for a bit and then Derek F turned emcee and announced speed dating rotations. The hamsters went into pre-season interview mode combined with characters and bad accents. It would have been fun to see them just relax and interact as themselves but oh well, they had fun, and each of them and the setting looked terrific. Whitney made her pitch to Christian around 1am, suggesting Derek X go up in her place, as she planned earlier today. It wasn't a very good pitch and we know it was pointless, but at least she made the effort. Day 25 - Saturday - July 31, 2021Azah, Claire, Derek X were picked to play veto along with Christian, Hannah, Whitney, and Alyssa will host. She was excited about that and hoped for a cute costume. She tried out a line, "I am the host of the veto competition!" But she'll find out the line is actually "this is the veto competition!" Kyland told Derek X to throw it to Azah or Claire if possible, if the others are already out, presumably so DX wouldn't widen his own target as a great competitor unnecessarily. If Derek X does win he'll have a tricky choice, but the plan currently would be to keep noms the same to ensure Whitney goes. Several of them were practicing spelling words since they always assume it'll be that comp, but they never factor in having to make a word with letters they find, rather than just random long words. The long whispery wait between player draws and playing took some odd turns. Derek F did Hannah's makeup, narrating his drag procedures as he went, and Kyland gave Whitney an extended neck and shoulder rub as she talked about her business and Oregon. Derek F visited HOH to listen to Christian's music and socialize, and Tiffany later petted Christian's head as he dozed. It was the Upside-down all over town, and whether any of them clocked it all as the shmoozing it was is hard to say. Also, Tiffany and Xavier talked about how they might be being perceived out here, and Xavier said if he's hated he hopes people will leave his family alone. (All their families should be left alone.) Derek X told Azah he's already told Hannah he'll do what Christian wants if he wins veto, and Azah said she'll listen to Christian and respect his HOH, "but there's no sense in me using it." Derek X also dropped to her that Alyssa had an F2 with Brent but evicted him anyway. Hannah and Azah had an error-filled debate about ducks vs geese, as Have-not Azah made bread from scratch. They went off for their comp around 2.15pm, returned about 90 minutes later, and Christian had won his second veto. In a row. It was called Bump Set Veto and host Alyssa was wearing a striped referee shirt rather than a swimsuit host costume like she'd hoped. It sounded like the one where they roll a ball back and forth, running to catch it to re-roll, without dropping it. It's no surprise Christian won that since we already know his physical stamina is impressive. They all marveled at his performance, and how quickly they finished. Derek X may or may not have thrown it, but I'm sure he's relieved he won't have to make the decision whether to use it on Hannah or not. Tiffany comforted Whitney, like she does. She's a combination of mom, nursing home cat, and shmoozer-in-case-of-revival, all of which are useful in BB. Since everything's decided for Whitney's exit, there was very little gametalk for a change, and instead they mostly chit-chatted in various large groups. They talked about the refreshing diversity of this cast compared to previous seasons, Derek F griped about there being no luxury comps yet, Whitney griped about being called raunchy, Hannah impersonated everyone's walks, and Tiffany called Whitney Britney again. Whitney jumped up screaming and chased Tiffany all over the house, tossing pillows at her. Whitney gave Xavier more suggestive hand massaging, most of them did a few rounds of bad British accents again, and SarahB snapped at BB and flipped a finger when given a "no napping" reminder. Azah's bread dough became garlic knots to go with Derek X's dinner, and Derek F's griping about slop ramped up to new extremes, which had Azah in hysterics. Tiffany gave Azah a peptalk and urged her to be strong for herself and for her team. That led to a good gametalk, with Azah saying she realized people were acting stupid and Tiffany replied "the stupider the better." Tiffany suggested SarahB was one of the more dangerous players currently because she acts like she knows nothing when she really knows a lot, and Tiffany seemed to be encouraging Azah to buddy up with SarahB as a backup Cookout partner/pawn, but she didn't come out and say so. Tiffany also said she struggles with Cookout because they'll want her to boot Christian if she wins HOH, and she said she didn't want to do that herself. From there they went into a hilarious segment about Whitney always rubbing on Xavier (which she continued to do through the evening), and Azah wanting him for herself. Tiffany said "this isn't Big Orgasm, Big Orgy, Big Massage, Get a BBC!" Azah laughed about her expressions when the rubbing's underway, and said her mom and sisters are watching, and "I be looking like BooBoo the Fool, I thought I left my grandpa's polygamous footsteps behind, okay?" Azah literally rolled with laughter when Tiffany impersonated Whitney doing her hand massages on Xavier. Derek X talked with Alyssa about wanting to work with Christian rather than against him, and it felt like everyone else was trying to pit them against each other. Alyssa proposed an F4 with Christian and Hannah, and Derek X seemed receptive, as did Christian when Alyssa told him - but she retold it to Christian as being Derek X's suggestion. They ran a few loops and decided they weren't sure about it as long as Royal Flush and their F4 with Tiffany and Claire were still intact. This is more very late news than late breaking news, but it seems Alyssa and Christian maybe did get busy last night after all. Feeds switched away from them at their goodnight kiss at 12.26am and returned at 12.45am. She said "I'm sorry, I suck" and he said "what can you do?" And he said they can have "a nice little handhold," and then he said "I think I like you." Then BB told them to put on their microphones, they stopped talking instead, and that was that. So make of that what you will, but a little birdie told me something happened up there, so I am adding it to the tally. Meanwhile back to tonight, they continued chit-chatting in various groups on various topics all evening. The yard finally opened around 10.40pm so at least they and we got a change of scenery, and Derek F announced he has 12 cigarettes left. Tiffany and Xavier had a pantry check-in and wondered what to do about the Alyssa/Christian situation. Xavier said he couldn't cut Christian because they're teamies and Tiffany said she couldn't do it, so they agreed Derek F would have to. But that would mean he'd have to win HOH, so that problem might persist for them. Azah had a long general topics chat with SarahB, per her mission from Tiffany, with Kyland present for most of it.
